Very good sized room, very comfortable bed and large bathroom. Staff very friendly. Hotel a little dated and no mini fridge. Wifi connectivity intermittent also. Overall would recommend as a great choice for a hotel in Basel close to the train station. Would stay here again.

The hotel is super well situated if you are using the train, a few minutes from the station. Also, the Basel card for the public transport was very much appreciated and used. Tram stops right in front of the hotel. We arrived around 10am from a transatlantic flight and was given our room right away, which was so nice. Staff is very nice and helpful not only at the reception, but in the restaurant for breakfast as well. Room was nice and clean. Would stay here again if in Basel.

Next to train station so it was very convenient. The hotel was clean and pretty. My room was very clean as well and the bed was very comfortable. I would have liked a firmer pillow because the one they had was too soft. The room also came with a balcony so that was a nice bonus. The trams are also right in front of the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location and staff were very helpful and friendly. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back as the front overlooks the tram stops that run all night.

Check-in was quick and efficient, making arrival hassle-free.
Room:
I received a complimentary upgrade to the Villa Ambiente. The room was very spacious, beautifully presented, block out blinds and extremely comfortable. The large rainfall shower was a standout feature. Wifi worked well.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was on the smaller side, but there were enough choices to start the day well.
Location:
The hotel is perfectly located just across from Basel SBB station, making it ideal for easy transport connections and exploring the city.
Overall:
A smooth stay with excellent service, a great room, and unbeatable location.

We had one of the larger rooms in the "villa" annex, and it was very spacious and comfortable. Everything was very modern, including window blinds that are operated electrically. It took a bit of experimentation to figure out what all the switches did. The walk-in shower was especially nice.
