The hotel was close to the Basel train station and walking distance to the zoo and to Old town Basel where there are lots of museums, churches, shops, grocery stores, and restaraunts.The staff were super; kind, helpfull offering a welcome drink which you can enjoy in the garden. I didn't est breakfast there but the dining room looked lovely so I could only imagine that the breakfast was an enjoyable experience. One of the best hotels that I stayed at in Europe.

I was attending a business conference. Hotel is very comfortable, modern, clean. Staff is very friendly, helpful and cheerful. Definitely take the breakfast. I am gluten and dairy free and I think it was one of the best breakfast I have had a non 5 star hotel! Very well located for shops, restaurants and the tram. I will most definitely stay again.

The vineyard looked terrible as it is still winter in Basel. The wifi was extremely weak and sometimes I could not connect at all. Visitors should be advised of the very weak strength of the Wifi. What a disappointment!

Chambre impeccable et donnant sur le jardin, donc très calme, petit déjeuner copieux et varié, le personnel très aimable autant à la réception qu'au petit déjeuner, la situation de l'hôtel très proche du centre ville et des transports transports

Excellent check in, quick stroll to city center and Christmas markets. City is hilly so there are stairs! Hotel has charming gnome garden, and places to sit, with blankets if it’s chilly. Nice breakfast buffet. Staff was lovely.

This hotel is 5 stars! Loved it. It is super clean, the rooms are quiet and cozy. The bathroom is spacious and meticulously cleaned (something that I personally appreciate). The check in was easy and automated through the official website and when I arrived the staff provided me with keys, charged the city taxes and showed me the iconic places in a brochure. The breakfast is amazing, fresh and high quality food and fruit. The sourdough bread was amazing! The decoration and the buffet area is well curated to take breakfast or even get relaxed by the afternoon. Thanks a lot! I definitely will stay in again.

If you like hot water and full pressure, the shower is great! My room was small, but I was traveling solo so there was plenty of space. Space. They brought a fan up for me because as an American we need moving air in a room! Windows open nicely as well. They could use a few more pillows on the bed.
The hotel is very convenient to the heart of Basel. If you're coming in from the train, jump on the 30 bus and get off at the very first stop. The hotel is directly across the street. You'll also receive a travel pass for public transportation through your booking.

We felt the property was conveniently located, and all staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. We walked miles every day during our 2 day stay, and it was great to return to our quiet, clean room.

Ble møtt i døren, hjalp til med bagasjen, viste oss rommet og spurte om alt var i orden. Topp service og nyoppusset rom som vendte ut mot bahgården. Fikk en aperitiff i resepsjonen og råd og veiledning om hvor vi kunne spise og hva vi burde se i Basel. Gode senger og stort rom med gode stoler og kaffemaskin på rommet.

La demoiselle à l’accueil était d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous sommes arrivés à l’avance, et elle nous a aisément accommoder. En prime, ils ont offert un verre de boisson gratuit en début de soirée. La chambre est propre, et c’est calme. Je recommande fortement, rapport qualité prix imbattable !

Beautiful little hotel! Couldn’t fault it from the welcoming arrival (with free drink!) to check out.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean with great amenities and the beautiful garden was an added bonus!

The staff and hotel location was excellent!! Without Alex's help on how to navigate we wouldn't have had such a great visit!! We highly recommend this hotel. Everyone was wonderful!!!
