Comfortable hotel, nice breakfast. Good location in proximity to Badischer Bahnhof and Hoffmann La Roche headquarters.

A great little hotel if you want to use the DBB station and not the SBB. Huge room, clean and comfortable. Eating options are great at the station across the road.

Its excellent. The room design is minimalist with appropriate and useful amenities its very spacious , it spotless, bed and pillows are great. It smelled clean and fresh, the staff are awesome and very helpful! Jizelle and Katie especially. We would stay here again .

Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly, checkin easy, only slight issue was the fold down bed mattress was very thin and had metal bars prodding through when you lay down for the 4th person in our room, great to get our Basel travel cards too, location brilliant so overall highly recommended

Traveling from Canada, we found Basel to be quite expensive. That said, Royal Hotel provided really good value for money. It was professionally run, the self check-in was easy, and being across the street from transit was very convenient. The unit was small, but very clean and as advertised. There were 5 of us (two adults and three teen children) and had a good sleep. It was nice to have a (small) work area too. We'd stay again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Hotel was centrally located. Staff was helpful with accessing city transportation. Breakfast was nice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The young lady at the front desk was extremely helpful to us, and offered us directions to the city. It was so nice to have the transport pass even though we had Swiss Rail passes that we could have used, but hat was a very nice touch. The room was so nice and large and the bed was fantastic!!!!! It was quite and very well positioned in the city. Love this place!

Vi ankom sent med toget. Enkel innsjekk rett ved stasjonen. Store, delikate rom hvor vi fem hadde god plass. Stille og rolig. Helt perfekt om du er på interrail. Veldig hyggelig resepsjon!

Freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Grosser Balkon und Saubere Zimmer. ÖV vor dem Hotel, ob Tram, Bus oder Zug. Frühstück aufs Zimmer.

Loved the fantastic views from the balcony, and the bed was comfortable, but wish the sofa bed was better. Our daughter has bad hips so our sleeping arrangements had to be adjusted to accommodate her. Convenient location near Coop and Basel BB train station, but a bit far from everything else. On the expensive side for what you're getting, but I understand prices are higher during Fasnacht. The shower was terrible - intermittent intervals of cold water throughout every shower, lasting a minute or more each time, made the shower experience unpleasant.The staff was fantastic and helpful, however.

Resepsiyon görevlisi, çok ilgili ve yardımcı idi. Oda temiz ve ferah,kahvaltı güzeldi. Merkeze yürüyerek 15-20 dk, toplu taşıma ile bir aktarma yaparak 5-6 dk.da ulaşılabilir. Tüm otellerde bu uygulama var mı bilmiyorum ama bize bir kart verdiler ve bu kart sayesinde havaalanına dönüş dahil konaklama süresince toplu taşıma araçlarından ücretsiz yararlanabildik, ayrıca bu kart ile tiyatro/ konser gibi etkinliklerde %50 indirimden yararlanabileceğimiz söylendi. Biz bir gece kaldığımız için bundan yararlanamadık, ama böyle bir imkanın sunulmuş olması çok güzel.

Not being able to easily leave suitcases at reception , because it’s more like serviced rooms than a hotel was difficult but being able to check in at 12 and access our room straight away was really good .

Room was a bit dated and it felt like I was the only guest! No front desk staff in the evening - had to get in outside via a machine which was a little unnerving.
In the morning the front desk attendee was very polite and helpful

It's very convenient to use train and bus. You can use Basel pass provided by the hotel, to go anywhere you like in the city.

Et dejligt og utrolig rent hotel beliggende tæt på den ene af Basels to store togstationer (1 minut til fods).
Der er ubemandet check-in, som fungerer hurtigt og fint, og servicen ved check-out er upåklagelig.
Værelset, vi boede på, var stort og indbydende med lækre senge og dyner.

A nice hotel, the room was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. It is situated just by the train station, and the immediate surroundings is not very exciting. However, a short walk takes you to the large Messepatz, with the congress center and several nice restaurants.

깨끗하고 넓고 굉장히 좋았습니다. 스탭들도 친절하였습니다. 다만, comport room을 혼자 써서 그런지 방이 많이 추웠으며, 길 건너편에 위치한 기차역에 정차하는 기차 소음으로 오전 6~7시엔 조금 시끄러웠습니다.

Restaurant next door serves pizza, pizza, and pizza. Total lodging bill ended up $45 higher than quoted online. Facility is fine, that’s as far as it goes.

Very loud and the building was shaking throughout the night as the hotel is directly across from the German train station. unsure what bit me overnight (10 bites), but it wasn’t a mosquito.
Front desk was staffed with very welcoming and helpful people! We appreciated the Basel card that provided free transportation and half off museums. Loved the city of Basel, but would not stay here again.

Resten af familien manglede lydisolering af vinduerne ifht. Togtrafikstøj og fyrværkeri.
Servicen er baseret på selvbetjening og tilkald, men var venlig.
Sengene var gode, badeværelset vidunderligt, morgenmaden fin og beliggenheden central.

Hotellin ilmastointi hajosi kesken kesän kuuminta päivää eikä sitä saatu kuntoon yön aikana. Hotelli hyvitti pienen summan ilmastoinnin puuttumisesta. Aamupalalla valikoima oli hyvin pieni. Sänky oli kapea ja patja erittäin kova. Todellisuudessa 2 tähden hotelli.
