Our stay was absolutely fantastic, an over the top 6 star experience. Andrei and his staff were so friendly and anticipated our every need. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and tranquil and the dining was extraordinary. We were only here 3 nights and wish it had been longer.

素晴らしい大人のリゾート。街の喧騒からはなれ、静かにくつろげます。街から少し離れてはいるけれど、車で10分弱で便利。スタッフは親切で優秀です。

Our stay was wonderful and one could not ask for a better time! The staff ere kind, attentive and very friendly. No question was an issue and staff were always making great suggestions. The ambience was terrific and we were made to feel at home as well as special. The food was a treat! We highly recommend La Residence and hope to return!

A magical place.
Following an intense work period and long journey, i arrive at Belmond to welcoming smiles and drumming. Gracious and affable check-in is followed by a Baci ceremony where the shaman explained the Laotian belief that a soul could leave one’s body (it had) and by ritual we restored our souls do ourselves. Then through the beautifully gardened grounds to a large, luxuriously appointed room with a view of the Luang Prabang valley. Terrific made to order breakfasts (not a buffet) including Laotian, Eastern, and Western dishes is eagerly and proudly served by the familial staff. Had cocktails and delicious snacks at the weekly cocktail party talking with very interesting life of the general manager (Salim?) The social and the quiet pools are fantastic, the massage great. Peng, the bartender who doesn’t drink, stirred up interesting concoctions. An ap and a van made everything easy. I applaud Belmond for aiding Myanmar staff with opportunities in Laos while that country is stressed. The staff was more welcoming than my own mother on a trip home. Not only did the beauty and friendliness return a weary travelers would to his body, but the experience elevated my spirit. A remarkable place of warm-hearted, inviting people. Highly Recommend.

This hotel is quite magical. The service is genuine and impeccable and the style is in harmony with Laos. I loved it here and it made the visit complete.

Lovely property with a fabulous infinity pool.
Excellent breakfast. The coconut puff pancakes are phenomenal.

Beautiful place not far from downtown. The service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There is shuttle into town but if they were free they would drop you any time. Food was excellent as well.

Staff, setting and ambience sublime - and the engaging kind helpful staff taught us so much about Laos and Laos culture. We would highly recommend!

Beautiful views, billy goats to cut the grass, warm country French Atmosphere in the middle of a vibrant city, wonderful sincere hardworking staff. The Lao food was outstanding (not as Spicey as Thai); took a class on campus.....Came here on a lark and were very pleased.

호텔 숙박 가격이 비싼편이지만 가격을 상회하는 서비스를 제공합니다.
방도 너무 이쁘고 야외 테라스도 넓습니다. 외출 시 직원들이 청소 및 사용한 물품을 다시 채워줍니다.
셔틀서비스도 이용도 편리하여 너무 좋네요.(정해진 시간 운행도 있고 개인이 원할경우 시내로 이동가능)
스파 및 헬스장은 이용하지 않아 모르겠네요.

The location was perfect. The views were great. The hotel was beautiful. Our room was so beautiful and clean. We felt very relaxed and comfortable. The food was excellent. The service and the staff were the best. They were always attentive and happy to help us in any way. We would definitely recommend the Belmond La Residence Phou Vao in Luang Prabang, Laos.

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Loved the views of the mountains and relaxing afternoons by the pool. Best champagne breakfasts ever. Clean facilitates. Great cooking class. Luang Prabang has lots to offer but the hotel makes it hard to leave. Hoping to return soon.

Terrific long weekend "escape" to Luang Prabang. Enjoyed biking around the town and lazily floating down the Mekong in a boat. The hotel is perfect...just far enough from town to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to explore the UNESCO World Heritage town. Hotel provides mountain bikes and "family" bikes. Has a beautiful pool where you can escape the humidity/heat during the day. And the food at the hotel was some of the best I've had in SE Asia. I had a lovely room overlooking the town in the distance, and I enjoyed reading on the porch in Thai-style lounge sofas on a lazy afternoon or the one morning when it softly rained. I went jogging each morning down the river and through the town. In the evenings I rode a bike into town to have a foot massage and eat dinner at one of the many lantern-lit cafes along the river.

Exquisite small hotel and excellent service. This hotel was the former guess house during the time of the monarchy... so expect the best... petit and with refined gardens!

The hotel stuff are very plite and very nice. They always cared of the people staying and knew what they want to do ,where they want to go. They offered us invitation to cooktail party ,sunset cruise (no charge)
And gave us a ride to the town by the shattle van. My hasband and I had great time there.

ホテルスタッフがとてもフレンドリーで親切。滞在中、サービス面で不満やストレスを感じる事はありませんでした。
要追加料金のメコン川サンセットクルーズへ無料で招待して頂き、素晴らしい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。
以前は朝食ブュッフェだったようですが、現在はアラカルトのオーダー形式に変更したそうです。ブュッフェを楽しみにしていたので少し残念でしたがどれも美味しかったです。
街からは少し離れていますが、ホテルの無料送迎があるので移動に不便は感じませんでした。

酒店的硬件同相邻的越南或几大海岛的好酒店比并没有优势，但服务给我留下了极深的印象，如果去琅勃拉邦这将是个极好的体验。
房间免费升到山景，房间有个大露台，躺着睡塌上，茗茶赏景，好不舒服。早餐可以送到房间，天气不太热的话，可以在露台上对着青山享用美食。
酒店的SPA非常出名，价格和上海普通美容院差不多，这次由于感冒，没敢去试，挺可惜的。
酒店送的湄公河日落游船非常值得一试，私人游船很赞，卧着躺着随意，还有专人服务，软饮啤酒都是免费的，也可以预定红酒香槟。
酒店的服务是国内几千一晚的酒店无法相比的，当我电话前台说要搭车出去晚餐，前台马上问有没有预约过需不需要帮忙。退房时刚刚致电前台，门一开两个酒店员工已经在门口候着了。
酒店客房不多，我一共没看到超过10个客人，如果你寻找个安静所在以及卓越的服务，那这里是个非常好的选择。

ㄏㄏ因為住宿預定時要求安靜的房間，飯店非常貼心的升等到庭園景觀家庭套房；但是因為此行目的要看山景，跟飯店反應後，他們解釋後還是不嫌麻煩的再幫我換回到山景房。
飯店也會安排每日活動，雖然短短一小時，但也可以了解地方文化；1740-2200也有接駁車往來夜市，非常方便。

スパは、レベルが高く、とても気持ちがよかったです。最初と最後にいただいたハーブティーもおいしかった。
朝食はビュッフェ形式でラオスのおいしいお料理が食べられます。

Everything was great for our 5 day stay. Luang Prabang is a small town but there is plenty to do. Tourism is important there but it is not overwhelming. Mostly it is people going about every day life which is wonderful as a visitor to walk around in. Very safe town. The hotel is excellent. Easily one of the top places to stay in the whole city. The hotel is 1-2km outside the downtown area but this is no problem. Free transfers whenever you want in the hotel car. Staff are falling over themselves to help in any way. We decided to stroll into town one evening, and the driver spotted us, turned around, and begged to allow him to drive us the rest of the way. They are that nice. The hotel tours and spa are not cheap but are very special. The Mekong cruise to Pak ou cave was pricy but it turned out very good value. Three staff including a guide all to ourselves on the nicest boat on the river. Unforgettable lunch for two on a secluded beach with table, chairs, umbrella etc. A luxury bespoke experience which explains the price tag. Would highly recommend the town and hotel.

今回８回目の滞在、この９年間相変わらず素晴らしい時間を過ごせました。
ルアンプラパンは小さな町で何回も来ていると観光する場所もなくなってしまいますが、このプーパオに泊まっていると、来てよかったなーといつも思えるホテルです。経営母体は変わりました。少し変化はありますが、世界的に一流のホテルマネジメント・サービスはしかっり受け継がれています。町のホテルより１０倍も高価ですが、一度は泊まってみる価値はあります。ただ一言あるとすれば、夜のレストランやエンターテイメントにもう一つ工夫してほしいといつも感じています。それと中にはこんな立派な職場で働けるんだぞ自分は、みたいな客を上から目線で見るような従業員がいるのが気になりました。発展途上国ラオスでは無理ないことかもしれませんが。

スタッフ全員が宿泊客をきちんと把握している印象でとてもフレンドリー。
場所は中心地から少し離れているがシャトルを出してくれるの問題ない。
今までのホテルの中でも満足度はかなり高い。

The Belmond Phou Vao is a good hotel in Luang Prabang. The best thing about it is the service. We were very well taken care of by the whole staff, in particular Cathy - at the front office/guest relations. They were super nice and helpful.
The hotel also offers many different activities and the ones we were able to participate in were really well planned and executed to perfection! The food is very good and the head chef and executive chef are really nice, going up to the table to talk to us! Since it was our honeymoon, they sent lots of gifts such as a dessert plater and a wine bottle, which was extremely nice!
Our only complaint is that the hotel is in need of renovations. The rooms are really antiquated and not what one would expect of a 5 star hotel. It’s spacious, but old (mainly the shower/bath, closets and the bed linens which is really scratchy).

A beautiful hotel which need some fixing. Air cond doesnt work properly, pool needs a clean up and staff is disorganised. Breakfast on the go is minimal.

Setting, property are amazing. Spa (main reason we stayed here) was really nice.
Food unfortunately was a let down, much below standard of some of the nicer Lao restaurants in town (Manda de Laos in particular). Telephones were also down which did not really bother us but a bit strange for a 5*+ property. Next time would probably just go to the Spa and stay in town or at rosewood.

Wirklich ein einderschönes hotel mit gutem service. Die preise für das essen sind sehr hoch. Daher essen die meisten hotelgäste auswärts. Das ist aber in lusng prabang kein problem.

ルアンパバーンの街の中心地からは少し離れた丘陵地帯にあるリゾートです。とても静かで、緑の山々が目の前に広がるリラックスできるリゾートです。お部屋もゆったりとしていて、お食事もとても美味しく、ゆったりと過ごすことができました。事前に、空港までの送迎を時間を変えて２回に分けてお願いしていましたが、それがうまく伝わっていなかったようで、その点で少し評価は下げています。それ以外の面では、ソフトもハードもとても満足致しました。

いつでもシャトルで街に往復送迎してくれる。しかも無料。これはとてもありがたい。
眺めは素晴らしい、とは言えないがこれは好みか。

周りにはなにもないですが静かな環境でした。
部屋は快適です。虫は思ったほど気になりませんでした。ただ夜にテラスに出ると光に集まってる感じがしました。窓を閉めれば部屋には入ってきませんしコンセント式の虫よけが部屋にあります。
ご飯はハンバーガーやサンドウィッチはとてもボリュームがあります。味は普通でした。
街へは送迎がありますし夜は決まった時間でシャトルバスが運行しています。
従業員の質はばらつきがありました。（笑顔がない、パクチー抜きと言ったのにパクチーが入っていた等小さい事ですが）
若いスタッフのほうが笑顔が多く頑張っている印象でした。
時期的に宿泊客が少なかったのでゆったりと滞在できました。
少し高いですがルアンパバーンではおすすめのホテルだと思います。

ベルモンドに経営が代わってから、それまでとは少し違いが出てきた。
悪いところを敢えて言えば、シャトルバスの運転手の個人的（としか思われない）な考えで、時刻表に沿った運行がなされない。町からホテルに戻る最終バスが今回来なかった。気に入ってるホテルで７年連続で来ていて初めてだった。
バイキング朝食は素晴らしいが、以前はあった見える場所で特別に調理してくれていた人達がいなくなった。奥から持ってくる普通のホテルと同じになってしまった。
部屋は素晴らしい。マネージャーもレセプションの人達もとても親切だ。

完全に値段に見合っていないホテルだった。まず、部屋の窓サッシの隙間が3センチほど空いているため、虫がガンガン部屋に入ってくる。夜中とか悲惨でした。ジャングルの中にあるホテルなのですごかった。虫に噛まれて腫れてしまって最悪でした。他のお客さんも次の日スタッフに文句言ってました。ホテルいわく自然と融合するというコンセプトなのでわざとらしいですが、あれは度が過ぎている。網ぐらいつけとけよ。しかも他の設備もたてつけ悪くて反っていたりしたので、本当にわざとかよ！って思いましたけど。。外で寝ているようなもんです。子供連れなんか要注意ですよ。
バスタオルやバスローブは擦り切れていてボロボロ。家よりボロいものをなぜ旅行中に使用しなくてはいけないのか。バスタオルはうちならもう雑巾にするほどのものでした。足ふきマットかと思った。取り替えてもらったけど全部そうだった。高級ホテルをうたうならこれはない。ホテルに泊まって貧乏くさい気持ちになるなんて最悪です。もちろん掃除も雑。経営不振で備品も買えないのでは？
朝の托鉢もドライバーが寝坊したとかで行けなかった。いい加減すぎる。托鉢もusで40ドルとか言われたけど、実際にお渡しするのはホテルで5ドルのスティッキーライスなので、どれだけぼったくるのかと。。空港への送迎も、空港から片道で2人で50000キープ(約us7ドルほど)だったのにホテルから送ってもらうとus25ドルでした。しかも、このホテル丘の上にあるため、トゥクトゥクのエンジンではホテルまで登ってくることができない。なので、ノーチョイスでホテルに送迎料金を払うことになります。宿泊料もさることながら、すべての料金が高いわりに、サービスも施設も中流以下。リピーターが来ないからか料金はぼったくるんだなぁと思いました。ご飯も高くてまずい。
また、そのようなホテルにありがちな最後の手段で、中国人やロシア人団体客を入れちゃっているものだから、ものすごくうるさいしゆっくりもできなかった。プールサイドではロシア人が賭博やっていて柄が悪かった。酔っ払って、時折プールに飛び込んで大はしゃぎするという下品さ。まわりのお客もみんなプールからはなれていく始末。あまりにひどいので、スタッフに注意してくれとお願いしたのですが、怖いようで注意してくれなかった。仕方がないので自分で言いに行きましたよ、賭博やってるロシア人に。ありえん。スタッフはぼ~っとしてるので、パラソルの準備も自分でしました。なんのためにホテルに宿泊しているのかわからない。部屋で休んでいても何度も「何時に出ていくのか」と掃除スタッフに聞かれて追い出されるし。ホテルでゆっくりしていたかったのに、最低ですよこのホテル。
私は、割引価格で宿泊しましたがそれでも割に合わないと怒り心頭ですが、本来の値段ならなおさらです。アジアに在住していたのである程度のことは気にならないし、ローカルスタッフも良い方ではあるのですが、経営自体がおかしいのでは？ もうすでに高級ホテルではないことを自覚してそれなりのホテルとして営業しているならぜんぜんokだと思いますが、これだけ落ちぶれても高級ホテルでございます的な態度と料金設定、設備の貧乏くささなので腹がたつんだと思いました。ゆっくりしたかったし、托鉢も行きたかった。時間とお金を返してほしい。
