This was a great place to stay! There is a tram stop and bus stop just outside. Also, the staff was so kind and courteous. The room was large and comfortable. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Wir sind mit dem Fahrrad angereist und freuten uns daher über die sichere Unterstellmöglichkeit in der Tiefgarage. Das Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und auch ohne Klimaanlage im Hochsommer noch angenehm. Sehr nett: es gab selbstgebackene Kekse und Wasser in Glasflaschen.
Auch das Bad war schön groß und mit Badewanne ausgestattet. Straßenbahnhaltestelle (Fahrkarten im Hotelpreis inbegriffen) ist direkt vor dem Hotel und es gibt einen Supermarkt auf der anderen Straßenseite. Das Queensize-Bett ist recht schmal, beim nächsten Mal würden wir wohl den Twin-Room nehmen.
Uns hat auch das Nachhaltigkeits- und Inklusionskonzept des Hotels sehr gut gefallen, daher 5 Sterne.

Nehir kenarında harika bir otel. Basel'in tarihi merkezine nehir kenarından yürüyerek ya da Basel'de konaklayanlara ulaşım ücretsiz olduğu için otelin önünden tramvaya binerek kısa sürede ulaşabilirsiniz. Otel gayet temiz ve personel yardımsever. Oda 4 kişilik bir ailenin bir gece konaklaması için yeterli. Lobideki kek, meyve ve kahve ikramları çok hoş. Memnun kaldığımız bir konaklama oldu.

Short stay in Basel. Was visiting Roche and this hotel was nearby. Great location by the Rhine. Free coffee etc throughout thecday was a bonus. And the cakes. Everyone really friendly.

The room was a bit minimalist but perfectly adequate for my needs & the price.
The room was spotless & an extra pillow & lighter blanket was provided upon request as it was quite hot. There's no air-con but the shutters keep the worst of the sun off the room & the window opens. 2 bottles of water (plain & sparkling) were provided every day plus the biscotti/macaroni every evening. I was on the top floor so there was no noise from above.
The staff were excellent - especially reception staff who were very helpful. They gave great instruction on transport, nearby walks & called a great taxi service on check out. There is an extra charge for local taxes - I stayed 3 nights so it was CF12 & they accept cash or card.
They also offer a free Basel card which allows free public transport & discounts for sightseeing tours and some attractions - say yes!
I paid extra for breakfast which was excellent - breads, cheeses, granola, fruits & eggs/pancakes etc on request but all included. A great touch was the range of snacks provided for free in the afternoon/evening - muffins, cake, fruit & unlimited tea/coffee/cold drinks.
The Breite tram stop is literally outside the front door (service number 3) & it's about a 7 minute ride to the centre if Basel. 15 mins to walk if you don't have any mobility issues. There's also a great riverside walk just around the corner & on the other side of the river is Museum Tinguely.
I'd wholly recommend DasHotelBreite for a short stay in Basel

Kinder mussten weder die Betten im Zimmer der Eltern bezahlen - auch das Frühstück war für die Kinder gratis. Super - danke herzlich für die Freundlichkeit vom Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstück.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen dieses Hotel gerne weiter.

Hotel non al centro antico, ma ottimamente servito, la fermata del tram si trova di fronte l'entrata dell'hotel stesso.

Hotel molo carino, camera per 2 adulti 1 bimbo molto spaziosa, disponibilità di prodotti da bagno per bambini, il tram n.3 comodissimo per raggiungere il centro, la stazione e l'aeroporto (con cambio) ferma proprio davanti all'hotel, di fronte ci sono coop e migros per ogni evenienza, l'hotel offre gratuitamente la sera bevande, frutta e dolci che sono sul buffet, il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile, la mattina le bevande sono gratuite anche se non si ha la colazione compresa, offre inoltre in uso gratuito biciclette, al piano terra è disponibili un piccolo spazio con giochi per bambini. OTTIMO HOTEL consigliatissimo, ci siamo trovati davvero bene

The staff on the front desk was absolutely friendly and helpful. Free public transport for the hotel guests in Basel was an additional bonus.

I like the hotel overall and my room in particular but mostly I found the staff to be outstanding

Großzügige Zimmern, Tolles Bad mit Badewanne. Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Besonders Lobenswert für Schweizer Verhältnissen, waren die kostenlosen Angebote an Snacks und Getränken sowie das Öffi Ticket und Fahrrädern. Das Bett wäre jedoch für 2 Personen zu klein. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank wäre optimal.

Super Lage, inklusive Ticket für ÖV, konnte man Basel gut erkunde.
Ansonsten waren Service, Essen und Unterkunft einwandfrei.

Dasbereitehotel is a very special comcept. Handicapped staff provides an excellent, caring and exemplary service.
The location is perfect and the hotel has a great, safe parking lot.
Free drinks and cakes and fruits 24/7.
Ideal to return.

Personnel très bienveillant et à l’écoute. Vraiment très agréable personnel. Je le souligne car c’est vraiment rare! Kids friendly. Chambres spacieuses. Localisation un peu excentrée mais tram au pied de l’hôtel et à à peine 5 min de transports en commun.

I understood you could check in only between 3pm and 5pm or you would have to wait until the next day. We did check in then, but I’m still wondering if that is true, because I have never encountered this policy in my many years of traveling in europe

The location is great as a base to explore from with inclusive public transport card as well. facilities were really nice too. I would stay again.

This hotel I stayed in was very supervised me. the staffs there are friendly and nice. they prepared cookies and waters for customers every day, and unexpected gift to customers ( I'd seen hotel made birthday cake for one customer in morning buffet, and he didn't know the Hotel remembered his birthday), the room was clean also. there are 2 supermarkets near the Hotel, so also convenient for us. I will stay here if I visit Basel again.

라인강앞이라 시원하고 좋았어요. 편의시설들도 트램정류장도 가깝고 팅글리 뮤지엄도 바로 앞이라 좋았어요. 조식도 종류는 적어도 있을 것만
있어서 좋았어요. 한가지
아쉬운건 소음이 ㅜㅜ 방음이 잘 안되는 점이 가장 아쉬웠어요

Alles is met aandacht omgeven. Schoon, maar bv ook roos op badkamer, appel voor onderweg, attent en vriendelijk personeel. Werkt met personeel dat moeilijke toegang heeft tot arbeidsmarkt, begeleiding door sociaal werker. Die menselijkheid zit in alles!

I had to stay in the area as I had some business meeting: parking facility (even though upon extra payment) and Basel pass helped a lot. Great and fresh breakfast gave a good start to my day. Absolutely recommended. It's a pity I did not have time to try the spa by Rhein river.

Excellent care & treatment by the front desk staff, tasty & filling breakfast, spacious clean room with plenty of hot water, right on the bus route. Came to see Tinguely and other museums, perfect location! Bed was a bit soft for my bad back... would stay again easily.

Unparalleled excellence. Carla and Brigette add such sunshine and laughter to the breakfast experience. All the staff is friendly and go beyond the extra mile to assure that you stay is memorable and unforgettable. I salute the social mission. Convenient location to the public transportation, and extras such as free bicycle use, I would stay at this hotel each and every time I'm in Basel.

Ce n'est pas la première fois que je séjourne dans cet établissement et je suis toujours très satisfait; l'accueil est très agréable, les chambres propres et bien équipées (par ex. ventilateur, eau, ...); idéal pour aller au centre ville en tram (5 minutes, arrêt devant l'hôtel)

簡潔明瞭的動線，乾淨清爽的室內裝修。大片觀景窗視野很寛，更貼心的是，外面可自動調整的大面積鋁百葉，光線可自由調整，貼心的透氣窗，太讃了。員工的服務也很到位，加上隨時可吃的水果，咖啡、蛋糕。非常棒的飯店極力推薦。
