A spectucular location with great views from the east bank of the Mekong River of the broad river, boats on it, and the surrounding karst mountains in the near distance beyond. Peaceful and beautifully maintained acres of landscaped gardens. Historic home of former revered Lao Prince. Good AC, wifi, shower or tub bath. Pool was wonderful with very nice chaise lounges and umbrellas but only about 8 of them, not enough if there are many people using it. Very good food options, both western and Southeast Asian. Some issues with food needing to be brough on trays from seperate kitchen, some dishes arrived only warm. Lovely decor. Cable TV is not all that good, less than strong signal, only a few channels in English. Free shuttle service seven times a day into LP city 2.5 miles away. Friendly service, Stephen the operations manager very helpful and speaks good English. Limited English from the friendly staff. Well managed and clean.

Excellent location with good ambiance. The staffs were professional and friendly. They were ready to assist with any all outside activities requested. I appreciated the extended check out granted when we requested. Highly recommended

My family loved our stay here. The staff were very helpful with every one of my requests. The views of the Mekong were unbeatable; watching the river cruises at night was stunning from the bar/restaurant; saying that, I think the bar/restaurant could have used another server. I really enjoyed the water buffaloes on staff :) greeting us on the way to breakfast, nice touch. Shuttles to the city were convenient. Gym was decent, and the spa massages were very good. The pool could use an update. Overall, excellent and relaxing stay. We enjoyed being a little way from the city.

Great grounds. Brilliant view. We had the Exec Suite and it was clean , very big and very comfortable. All Staff were amazing and friendly and ever so helpful. Swimming pool was big and when we went the water was a perfect temperature. Breakfast setting was lovely, overlooking the river and the food was great. Resort is about 10 mins from the town on a scooter however they also offer a free shuttle which we used a couple of times. Resort is very peaceful and I would highly recommend staying here . If we visit again we will definitely stay again

A truly relaxing hotel ,peacfull,beautiful location ,the food at the resturant was truley amazing ,staff were also so helpfull and tentative to any needs you may have.its a place to chill and look at the natural beauty of the mekong river with montains in the back ground. Rooms nice clean,bed was amazing , cant fault the place or the people.

Although the hotel is a little far from the center of the city, they have a good shuttle service and taxis are not expensive. Very good hotel, quiet and with a perfect service. The breakfast buffet is amazing.

街中からは離れているので徒歩では無理です。夕方からは蚊が出てきます。シャワーもホットでは無くて37度くらいかな！マイナス点はこのくらいです。スタッフは親切です。レストランの眺望は素晴らしい。料理は川魚の唐揚げ、全く臭みもなく美味しい。ご飯もコシヒカリより旨い。是非お勧め、勿論ラオスビールもうまい😋 次回も泊まります。リゾートホテルです。

What a lovely old Grand Lady. Hey, its not perfect but quaint. A fabulous location. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. All superb. The views above the Mekong are worth every cent. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel qui essaie de garder le côté authentique du Laos. Service impeccable, attentionné, souriant et “aux petits soins”. Chambres en excellent état et très bien tenues. La terrasse avec vue sur le Mékong est un régal. Petit déjeuner complet avec un très bon équilibre entre laotien et français. Excursions très bien organisées et à un prix abordable. Situé à 15 mn du centre ville, mais navettes dans la journée gratuites ou tuk-tuk à la demande pour environ 5 € par trajet. Le parc, vaste et très bien entretenu est un havre de paix avec une vue sur le Mékong mémorable!

Very nice hotel. The restaurant is also good and the buffet for the breakfast is great. The staff is very kind and helpful.
The hotel is a little far from downtown but a shuttle service is available until 10 pm

Die Lage am Mekong ist wunderschön mit einem einmaligen Blick. Wir hatten für 5$ p.P. eine Sunset Tour auf dem Fluss Richtung downtown gebucht und hatten einen schönen, etwa 45 min. Trip. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und die ganze Anlage hat ein besonderes Flair. Der Shuttledienst Richtung Innenstadt ist absolut zuverlässig und verkehrt sehr häufig, sodass man alles in Luang Prabang in Ruhe genießen kann.

ルアンパバーン市内から少し離れた所にあります。市内へ向かうバスが定期的に出ていて便利でした。部屋も清潔で広く、素晴らしかったです。朝食も色々揃っていて申し分なかったです。市街への車チャーター等も依頼できます。

We had a very comfortable stay at The Grand Luang Prabang. The room was very nice, amazing views, good breakfast and lunch, shuttle service to and from the Main Street, relaxing pool, and very friendly and helpful staff.

We spend 5 days at this resort,we had a wonderful time,the location is perfect,right on the river with amazing views from our room,specially in the early morning,just sitting outside and enjoy the river view.
The staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet is brilliant!
We highly recommend this resort ,if you want to stay in the quiet part of Luang Prabang away from the main town,it only takes 5 minutes in a motorcycle tuk tuk or the free van shuttle the resort provides to the centre,when you there,there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars and excellent coffeehouses.

Very nice hotel in terms of service, rooms and location. Free breakfast service and quality was pretty good too. Lunch and dinner prices are a little expensive, it was cheaper to go into town to eat dinner.

We had a wonderful time at The Grand. The rooms are beautiful and the view to the river is stunning. Great breakfast, free bisycles and shuttle into town. It was nice to start the day with a swim in the pool. The staff is helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.

A great hotel and great service. A lovely location base 4km from the town - very peaceful. Had a suite overlooking The Mekong with a lovely terrace. Would highly recommend an evening meal at the hotel if you don’t want to venture into town. Great place and one I would recommend.

Amazing location with signature views of the Mekong River. The whole facility is beautifully set in the landscape. The staff is courteous and helpful. But the rooms and the bathrooms should use a remodeling. The furniture is rather old, there are no king-size beds but two beds put together, the lights switches behind the bed are very inconvenient and the bathroom had a sewer smell. But overall it was still a beautiful and memorable experience staying there.

Gorgeous views over the river. Lovely grounds. Restaurant on site so no need to go into town. Airport transfer for $15. Room not 5 stars but certainly pleasant enough.

Beautiful property with location just next to Mekong river. The room was good and staff was good. The only con I would say was that the property was a little away from the downtown so you would have to rely on tuk-tuk or taxi to get back n forth. The hotel has free shuttle for this.

This hotel is located next to the Mekong River. It is a very beautiful at night and has various shuttle services. The staffs were well versed in English and were attentive to my needs. It is located away from the busy downtown area which is good for a peaceful and quite stay. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel. Staff was fantastic and all around details are done so well. The bed was extremely comfortable! Oh and the view! Just beautiful. Definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a little out of town but they have many shuttles and tuk tuk is cheap.

리조트가 아주 넒고, 셔틀버스도 잘 되어 있습니다. 수영장은 물론 리버뷰도 좋았습니다. 조식도 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 다만 침대가 너무 삐걱대어서 그게 싫었네요.

Beautiful hotel. Nice friendly staff. Love the river view. Definitely could use variety in their breakfast, and keep food cover - too many flies on the food. The dinner menu was fantastic.

Wunderbar direkt am Ufer des Mekong gelegen ist dieses Hotel wirklich ein Traumhotel: Frühstück oder Dinner direkt am Fluss, fernab vom Trubel der Stadt. Dazu alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man von einem 5-Sterne Hotel erwartet: gutes Restaurant, gute Cocktails.
Entfernung vom Zentrum Luang Prabang 4 Kilometer, mit hoteleigenem Shuttle oder tuk tuk gut erreichbar, zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Wasserfälle, Höhlen). Nächstes Mal auf jeden Fall wieder!

We were very appreciative with the hotel staffs' s professional services and their hospitality. The hotel itself is full equipped and very comfortable. The scenery is so wonderful that enlightened our mind and made us feel so peaceful. Overall, please don't miss such beautiful experiences!

호텔 매니저와 직원 모두 친절하고 아주 따뜻한 환대를 해줬습니다. 라오스 타이밍 때문에 서비스가 늦어지는 경우가 있었지만 휴양 차 간 여행이라 가 웃고 넘길 수 있었습니다. 메콩 강변에 위치해있는 넓은 부지의 호텔이라 아름답고 꽝시폭포에 가기 좋으며, 다운타운은 호텔에서 제공하는 셔틀을 타면 다녀올 수 있으니 중심지에서 약간 떨어져 있어도 지내기 편리합니다. 수영장도 락스물이 아니지만 깨끗하게 관리되며 수건과 시트는 다 깨끗해서 안심하고 사용할 수 있어요. 루앙프라방에 지내는 사람들에게 추천합니다!

너무나 예쁜 방에서 잘 쉬고 왔다. 앞으로 메콩강이 흐르고~역사가 깊은 장소에서의 훌륭한 힐링의 시간이었다. 다시 가보고 싶은 곳
