Loved the location. Clean and friendly and quiet. Loft was lovely and large. stairs to loft were “exciting.” Just a lovely stay.

Great option for a short stay in the city and only a short walk down the canals to the centre, 10/15 minutes tops. Staff were amazing and the cafe/bar across the road is a great spot for a beer

Very nice hotel beds super comfortable. Heating was great as could be controlled in each room. Room was clean and they left popcorn tea and coffee

Where do i begin? The moment i came in, i was met with a gracious host behind the desk, who ensured that my room was accessible via elevator since i had 2 large luggage pieces. The next day, the other attendant was full of advice on where to go and how to get there..she even gave me free dutch chocolate! My last two days, i had breakfast in the hotel and boy was I pleasantly surprised! Freshly made scrambled eggs, delicious fruit, warm breads and great coffee!
The room that i got was on the small side because i was a solo traveller, but i really enjoyed the fact that there was a balcony.
Overall, I was truly satisfied!

God modtagelse fra personalet. Værelset var lidt lille men fint og hyggeligt og godt til prisen.
God beliggenhed lige ved siden af sporvognen. Ca 2 km til centrum, men en smuk gåtur langs de smukke kanaler, så vi brugte næsten ikke sporvognen. Sødt og meget hjælpsom personale. Ville bruge stedet igen.

Outstanding customer service, beautiful clean room with everything you might need, vibrant style and appearance, close and efficient transport system, hotel staff went extra mile to dress the room for my partners birthday. Had the best holiday. Would love to stay here again.

Hotel was ideally located close to tram and tube. It is walkable to Dam Square. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.

Tram stops nearby for easy transportation and just far enough out of the city center to be quiet but not too far away if you would enjoy walking there along the canals!

Upon arrival, I was given a room on the third floor without an elevator. I explained that I couldn't go up or down stairs, and they kindly moved me to a room on the second floor with an elevator.
This room is very spacious and bright, with large windows and a balcony. Perfect. I loved it.
All the staff were very kind and friendly, helping me whenever I needed it.
The lobby is very spacious, comfortable and cozy, and one can spend a pleasant time there.
The hotel is very well located and very well connected.
The only thing that wasn't optimal was the room cleanliness. It seemed like they only made the bed and didn't clean anything. In fact, they left the already dirty glasses and wet and used towels without replacing them with clean ones.
Another thing that wasn't right was that the desk lamp, coffee maker, and kettle had any place to plug, so I couldn't use them.
But the bathroom hygiene products, such as shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, shower gel, and body moisturizer, are of excellent quality. Only the toilet paper wasn't up to the same standard.
Despite the inconveniences I mentioned, I plan to return to that hotel with my family because I believe those problems can be resolved by talking to the front desk staff.
They are all lovely, I really liked them and I loved the hotel.
I had a wonderful time there and I felt safe and at home.

Beautiful hotel, conveniently located. Walking distance from several places of interest as well restaurants and caffès and well connected in terms of public transportation. A handwritten note in the room as a welcome is a really nice detail, specially if you’re 7 thousand km away from home

This hotel has amazing customer service. Perfect location. The British woman at the desk provided top notch service and went above and beyond. The hotel also has one of the most comfortable lounges we have seen and it invites you to hang out. The basement rooms are more humble than the others, but are clean and have lots of style. We would definitely stay at this Hotel V again.

Nous avons vraiment passé un super séjour, l’hôtel est vraiment beau et fidèle aux photos, la chambre très confortable et pratique.
Les petits services sur place sont top : de l’eau fraîche au concombre, des jeux de société, des livres et magazines à disposition dans le lobby, un verre de vin offert à l’arrivée, un personnel adorable et très serviable !
La localisation de l’hôtel est également top, juste à côté de nombreux trams, et même à pied la proximité avec les musées et certains coins est juste géniale.
Je recommande définitivement 😊

I really loved the property and the location. The staff was amazing. No, was never the answer. Samatha, Katrina and Rodrico is the staff that can make any hotel stay a home. They should all be promoted. I will be staying again very soon

Overall a lovely hotel, decor in rooms tired and needs some love - new wallpaper etc. lots of cobwebs so marked down for cleanliness but sheets etc clean.

The room was spotless, but you literally can see the people walking and gym across the window, the room is ground level you might hear people walking and talking right outside. However everything else is great. Nearby tram and Albert Cuyp market, and De Pijp! Fun location.

Un service courtois et réceptif. Nous avions un soucis avec la chambre et la réception a réagi rapidement.

Nice staff but the noise from neighboring rooms and hall is easy to hear. Was lucky with the residents and only got bothered a few times and still had a pleasant stay

Nous n'avons pas pris les petits dej. Hotel sympa deco jolie et stylée . Par contre manque rangement dans sdb, une lampe chevet qui ne fonctionnait pas... Micro Assenceur pour 1 pers jusqu'au 2eme et acces au 3eme par escalier .
Hotel idealement situé proche transport et proche centre ville . Nous avons tout fait a pieds . Service parking vouturier : certe tres cher mais un chauffeur vient vous prendre la voiture et vous la ramene en fin de sejour . Possibilite de parking relai extérieur de ville .

Was a bit concerned about staying in the basement rooms here after reading other reviews but really enjoyed my time at the hotel
Staff were super friendly
Yes, the basement rooms are small-ish but you can see that from the pics when you book. If you’re doing a long weekend stay eg. Friday-Monday you’ll be fine
Room was clean, cozy, comfy and had a great shower
Only minor complaint was we never had house keeping as the cleaners kept coming to our room around 4pm when we were getting ready and I’d usually expect house keeping to happen in the morning.
Would 100% recommend and stay again :)

The hotel is in a great location close to the trams. Rooms are clean but very small. There is a self service breakfast for an additional fee of 17 Euros. Lots of pastries, fruit, meat, cheeses, and scrambled eggs. Chef who served breakfast was not friendly, maybe because the hotel seems short staffed. One
day I arrived one hour before breakfast ends, they were out of scrambled eggs and was told he wouldn’t make any more. Overall ok.

Väldigt mysigt område speciellt i De pijp ,super bra service ,överraskande bra frukost . Lite hårda sängar . Bra kollektiv trafik med både spårvagn och metro . Vi bodde i två olika område när vi var i Amsterdam och föredrog hellre detta .
