Amazing hotel in a great location. The river is on one side with nice views of the city, then you have the Christmas market on the other side during December. Super convenient location and you can get to anywhere in Basel taking the tram.

Room was Spartan but clean and tidied up daily. Staff was excellent---always helpful and patient. Convenient public transportation stop and passes provided by the hotel. Only complaint was that the shower's floor was pretty slick; be careful!

super Lage am Rhein - unbedingt Zimmer mit Rheinblick buchen. Auf der Gasse rund ums Hotel ist nachts ziemlich viel los!

Amazing Hotel that takes you back in time in the heart of old town Basel. Walking, restaurants, shopping all within short walking distance.
Wonderful staff were there if needed and assisted in all items we asked

The building is amazing.

Loved the location. We were there for National Swiss Day and ate at the restaurant where we had great food and a front row seat for the fireworks.
The staff could not have been more pleasant. They shifted our dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant and provided recommendations for other places. They provided coffee service on each floor.
The Hotel is older and could stand newer furnishings, but has character and the beds were comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but we were comfortable even in early August.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great, close to the tram and scenic walks along the Rhine River.

This was a really great hotel, artistic, roomy, great location but beware construction on the city side was noisy. We had to keep the windows closed.

The Krafft Hotel is a supreme example of preserving something with older charater but at the same time making it fresh, clean and up to date. It has great character. The staff were very helpful and as good as any hotel I have stayed at. The cutomer service was exemplary. Overall, our stay could not have been better.

Beautiful building, and view of the river, wonderful restaurant, magnificent breakfast. Close to main transportation lines.

Friendly and accommodating staff, without exception. Large rooms, enough for our four bags. Left my credit card at reception and they quickly called me and got it to our friends for delivery to us. All very helpful. Highly recommend this WWII era yet updated hotel. And great location!

Cozy, well appointed and great location. I felt the Krafft had anticipated every comfort. Also, great location on the Rhine near the cultural center of Basel.

Love the hospitality of the staff- friendly, helpful and professional. I just wish they had the door sign requesting privacy- the cleaning staff opened my door twice while I was in my room.

Simplicity, design, quality of everything. Free bikes and friendly staff. The hotel is almost perfect.
The only detail missing is A/C. It is very warm in the summer in the best rooms facing the river.
