El lugar está bien y el desayuno es muy bueno, no contestan mucho si necesitas transporte del aeropuerto, hablan poco inglés entonces te ofrecen lo básico.
Igual recomiendo que se queden a dormir, es tranquilo.

Stayed here for 5days. The location is a bit far from the night market place but it is still in walking distance (around 10~15 mins). So we always go by walk to downtown.
The owner and staffs were so kind and they greeted me and support me in many ways. It was valuable stay overall.

何度も泊まっておりますが、非常に心地がよい場所です。
今回は、ホテルの真向かいのナムカーン川の埋め立て工事が行われていて騒音が厳しかった。
それ以外は、特になくいつものとおり快適。

半島の先の方の静かなホテル。3度目の滞在でしたが、快適に過ごせます。スタッフも親切、なにしろ静かでくつろげます。繁盛しているようでチェックイン、チェックアウトが毎日ありました。アメニティは、タオル、石鹸、シャンプーのみ。Wi-Fiが探偵していないところが少し残念でした。

I had a great stay at Villa Somphong. Its clean and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Its located in the centre and is quiet (no noise form bars).

Good little hotel. Clean and simple. Nice balcony area outside the room was great to watch the world go by. The Manager went out of her way to get us on to a minibus trip to the waterfall at the last minute.

This place was beautiful, clean and safe, its in a wonderful location, close to the best restaurants, the temples and its right next to the river. The staff were very nice and helpful. I wanted to stay for an extra night, but they were booked, so the lady at the desk found me a room in another hotel close by, she told me i could leave my luggage in the room and she would have it moved over to the new hotel when my room was ready. That even when i came back from tour it was all taken care of! They also have the best and cleapest laundry service in Loas. Love this place

Right by one of the rivers on a quiet road parallel to the main tourist street, the location was excellent.
Convenient for good eating and drinking as well as starting points for many tours.
Clean with a nice sitting area outside the room on the ground floor, I wouldn't choose a room behind the main building without a view.
Freshly cooked breakfast was a bonus though the menu was limited if you stay there for more than 2 days.
Good English spoken and friendly staff.

Villa Somphong är ett toppenhotell med fantastiskt service och närhet till centrum. Vi fick hjälp med att både fixa visum och boka flygbiljetter vidare till Vietnam. Hotellet ligger i gamla stan, den lugnare delen av "the main road". Supervacker omgivning med floden och tempel runtomkring

We had a lovely stay at Somphong. The owners and personnel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious and the location is perfect. We will certainly return there.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im oberen Stock mit Flussblick. Der Balkon ist vor der Tür mit Tischen und zwei Stühlen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Frühstück. Für europäische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Gutes Preis/Leistungsverlust Verhältnis

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Somphong. Our room had a nice outdoor area overlooking the river across the road. It was a short walk to restaurants and shops. There was some confusion about our reservation which left us without a room for the last night of our stay, but Noy worked very hard to find another property that we'd be happy with. I have to say she really came through for us because we loved our stay at the Thongbay Resort. If we ever return to Luang Prabang we would be happy to stay at either of these properties.

Arrived and taxi at airport was waiting, the reception was so friendly and spend time explained the town and a few local words
Close to all the central town area, but opposite the river on a quieter road.

We enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located and well serviced guesthouse. The staff were helpful and friendly. I loved the shoes free environment, which kept the timber floors beautifully clean. Breakfast outdoors by the river was a very pleasant experience.

Sehr nette Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Gutes Frühstück mit Blick auf den Fluss. Freundliche und Hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ausflüge können im Hause gebucht werden.

Faces Nam Khan River. Close to most every thing. Bit of a walk to the night market - if your're not in walking shape.
Good breakfast across the street, just above the river.
Some temporary construction (addition to a building till August 2016, but only during day time hours.
Was suprised when 3 of us had to pay 20,000 kep ($2.50 USD) to tuktuk ride to the airport. Thought it was included in Hotels.com pricing.
The lady that seems to run it was great, as was the staff.

とても素朴な感じのホテルスタッフの方がテキパキと仕事をしている。見ていて気持ちがいい。
家族経営的に見えた。ナムカーン川がメコン川と合流する場所に近く両方が
楽しめやすい。ナムカーン川は２階の部屋は外の廊下がベランダにもなっており見下ろすことが
出来てオススメ。また、それぞれの川のビューポイントにも近く、ワット・シェーントーン
にも近い。ナイトマーケットまでは少し距離があるが、問題にならないだろう。

정말 너무 좋았습니다. 아주머니께서 너무 친절하시고 영어도 잘하셔서 여행에 많은 정보도 주십니다. 야시장에서 약간멀어요 걸어서 어디든 갈 수있고 주변에 레스토랑도 많아서 위치 걱정도 안하셔도 됩니다.

시내랑 약간 거리가 있지만 숙면을 위해서는 조용한위치.
청결도는 보통이나 개미가 있었음. 화장실이 좁지않았음.
방에서 와이파이 잘터짐. (일층출입구쪽)
조식은 대체적으로 맛남.

Managerin spricht gut Englisch, organisiert Reisen und Ausflüge vor Ort. Sehr sympathisch und intelligent.

半島の先の方の家族経営のホテル。
周りは静かでリラックスできます。
ナイトマーケットなどへは少し歩きますが徒歩圏内です。
朝ご飯はおかゆがおいしかったです。
スタッフの方々が親切で居心地はよいです。
アメニティーは、石鹸とシャンプー、タオルです。
水が毎日1名1本つきます。
1階の部屋でカーテンを閉めていたため、暗かったです。

Pænt og rent villahotel der ligger tæt på det område hvor det "sner" i Luang Prabang. Morgenmaden var fin i relation til hotellets pris; alt i alt "value for money".

２年ぶりに泊まってみて２棟が３棟になって規模が大きくなっていた事が嬉しかった。大規模化は良い事ばかりではない、以前は川沿いの空き地にパラソルが２つあって３つほどのテーブルが並んでいてそこで朝食を取れるのがとても良いシュチエーションであったが残念ながら土地が狭く継続利用を断念したようだ。しかしながら商売繁盛、規模拡大は評価の高さの裏付けであり嬉しい限りです。

メコン川とナム・カーン川の交わる半島の先の方のホテル。家族経営で非常に暖かい感じ。ホテルは3棟に分かれていて、私が泊まったところは、ナム・カーン川を眺められる位置。1階の部屋でしたが、玄関を出たところで川を眺めながらゆったり一服はいい感じです。ただし、夜は、川と部屋の間の道路を通るバイクや車の音は結構気になる。朝ごはんのおかゆはおいしかった。簡単な売店もあり飲み物なども買えます。

Basic room, but clean. Only problem was the noise of the people having breakfast.

The villa was great overall. Good sized rooms with a decent sized bathroom; the location is quiet as it's at the tip of the peninsula. The staff was friendly and helpful, but besides the owner lady, the English level of the staff was limited. It's finally comforting to see the waiter at breakfast to write down the orders of each table instead of relying on his (poor) memory. The only thing stands out negatively was the blood stain on the mattress, which was visible through the thin bedsheet.

Clean room, king size bed, TV and fridge, toilet shower. Balcony with table and chairs. Good breakfast included. Very nice and helpful staff. Well located in the center, facing the river.

A friend and I stayed 3 nights at Villa Somphong in March 2017. It is a nice guesthouse overlooking the River Kahn. It is only a 10 to 15 minute walk to the centre of Luang Prabang old town, most of the sights and the boats offering trips down the Mekong. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. The manager booked a trip to the elephant sanctury and Kuang Si Falls for us and the staff can assist with a range of trips, onward flight bookings etc. The breakfast is satisfactory and there are a number of very good restaurants that can be reached in under 10 minutes on foot. Overall it was good value.

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, quiet location. Friendly staff, willing to help. A 10-15 minute walk to the night market, with good riverside eating options minutes away. Good location to see the early morning monk parade.
