We stayed in a 1 bedroom canal view space. Very comfortable and good space to spread out after a long day of exploring the city. There's no a/c, which we knew prior to our stay. Thankfully there was a fan provided which made a world of difference in the comfort level. Be sure to use it in the summer! The kitchen could have used a few more supplies such as mixing bowls, measuring spoons/cups, and a spatula but we were able to manage with what was provided.
The tram was a short walk away and we were able to get to the museum district in 12 minutes! Otherwise it was a 15 min walk to the main train station. Do not neglect the wonderful park a short walk past the tram stop. We almost missed it and enjoyed it our last day. Sadly we discovered the cute shopping area in Haarlemmerplein after stores were closed and weren't there on the day of the market. Perhaps a summary of local amenities should be added to the checkin email "my trips" to facilitate food shopping and local information/resources for the guests.
Overall satified with the stay and would recommend.

Stylish and spacious apartment in a quiet canal side location with easy access to transport links and walking distance to Jordaan district and many attractions.

Really lovely apartment in a great location. We stayed with a 6 month old baby and 4 year old and it was ideal for quiet. If you had a kid between these ages the stairs might not have been safe but for us it wasn't a problem. Kitchen was helpful and well equipped for basic meals and a nice big fridge and dining table. Really close to bus and tram stops for all the tourist spots and cheap to get to central station / museums etc.

We had a great time at the apartment for a group of friends, contact from the company was great beforehand. Sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable and also quite steep steps downstairs if you have mobility issues. However we enjoyed our stay and would recommend

The process, communication and check in were all super simple and easy.
The location was perfect for our family, beautiful area, with access to parks, restaurants and local culture we had everything at our fingertips.

Overall, our stay in the hotel has been quaint and relaxing. It’s surprising that there was free coffee in the lobby for people living in there. The room was pretty big and the view was great with a canal and trees. The environment around the hotel was safe. Despite the fact that the washroom and the bathroom were separate, it was brilliant that they have provided enough towels and shower gels. The island in the living room was convenient for cooking as well.

Lovely accommodation only 4 minutes by bus to the centre. Bus stops & tram stops both within 5 mins walk from the accommodation.
Excellent communications before arrival and checking in was easy.
We stayed in a large one bed apartment which was larger than expected. Very clean, with plenty of storage space.
Only thing I think these rooms need is a couple of fans, which are needed in the Summer months.

Beautiful spacious apartments on a canal, walkable to most attractions and right on the end of the tram line. Nice kitchens, in room laundry/dryer, super clean place.
Easy access with door codes.
AC was not very powerful, but the weather was cooler when we were there, and it was still a bit warm. Would definiely stay again and its a great homebase from which to explore Amsterdam

A nicely modernized holiday apartment. Family friendly. Staff is always available at the reception to offer any help. Free coffee at the counter.
The laundry machine should be replaced/fixed.

The decor is white which makes the spacious apartments appear even more spacious which is a plus in a city where most accomodations are a bit on the claustrophobic side. Friendly staff, quiet neighborhood also a plus...

Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. Excellent location, easy access to all attractions. Room amenities can be improved. Large room, perfect for family or group travel, overall is was a great experience! Highly recommended.

This place was fantastic. Clean, friendly excellent location. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The 24 hr staff was wonderful for info and security. We would certainly stay here again on our next visit

I highly recommend this property. The front desk were so friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and had everything that someone would require. I loved having a washer/dryer in the apartment as well as a laundry room free of charge if needed. The view of the canals was amazing. It was about a 30 min walk into the main area of Amsterdam but lots to see and take pics of as you walk.

Great, quiet location. Excellent staff. Only dislike: very warm in apartment and windows would not open, so had to use fans to sleep.

It was spacious for our young family of 4. It had everything we would need The price point was unbeatable compared to other properties in central Amsterdam. Thought abit of a walk from the main attractions, if needed we would take an Uber or a bolt that still made the overall cost worthwhile.

If I have to say one small issue is sofa bed could be in better condition. Everything else is perfect. All staffs are professional and helpful, we got everything we need during our stay. The view from my apartment also beautiful. Highly recommended !

A short bus ride from Amsterdam Centraal made this a conveniently located location to stay at. The hotel provides guides for the surrounding area which we should have paid more attention to as they had some very good recommendations for food that was nearby rather than us taking the bus into the city centre.

Yays Salthouse Canal was a great choice for our small family of 3 for our first visit to Amsterdam. We really liked the apartment style setup including a separate bedroom and living room and additional kitchen with amenities. We often had breakfast in the room using the range top, coffee machine, microwave and fridge, and the ability to heat up left overs or bring dinner back and have it comfortably in the living room or on the dining table. Cleaning staff comes by every 8th day or so, so keep that in mind if you're staying shorter. Not a deal breaker for us.
The location was excellent for us. Only 4mins from the No 5 Tram that takes you around the East side of central Amsterdam on the No 48 Bus that takes you to the Central station in ~8mins. Quiet but walking distance from Albert Heijns, groceries, cafes and restaurants. We always felt safe even when we were returning back to the hotel after 10pm. Stylistically we did like how they merged the old timber ceiling looks with modern interiors. Has an elevator (definite plus in Amsterdam!)
The staff was also excellent. All 5/6 front desk folks we talked to were very pleasant, great English (goes for most of The Netherlands). Gave us great tips, even though we had pre booked multiple events on each of the 6 days we were there. And were often just good conversation!
Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay again even slightly pricier to others. I might try the Yays Maritime to see how that property looks.

Sehr schönes Apartment, alles top! Ins Zentrum empfiehlt es sich, die Öffis zu benutzen. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, schafft es aber auch ohne.

Great fine, the apartment setting made the time there really comfortable. Bed was really comfortable, shower nice. Made feel like a local. Location convenient and a short walk to centrum.

We loved staying at Salthouse Canal. The apartment was unique and met all our needs. It was a quick walk to train and tram and accessible. Staff were helpful and accomodating. Have already recommended it to a friend visiting this summer.

We are a family of four and we stayed at the property for five nights. We walked to all the museums and liked that the hotel was tucked away from the main touristy areas. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing food and the laundry was located in the apartment. The staff was helpful with everything.
Just one small complaint - the sofa bed was okay for kids but would be brutal for an adult!

Visited Holland and Paris with my wife and 15 year old granddaughter to show granddaughter where I came from 60 years ago, could not have chosen better location and have excellent staff in hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel
