Staff stayed later to accommodate my late arrival, very helpful

Been here for the third time, so it cannot be a bad place. Small rooms - as anywhere in KL in this price range - but comfortable beds, good bathroom, spotlessly clean. Windows, which cannot be opened, face an inner indoor courtyard, so there is no noise from the street.
Location is right in the middle of Petaling Streetmarket. You can watch it from the terrace in the second floor. Great location.
Breakfast buffet is reasonable in that price range. A simple choice of bread, eggs, sausages, jam, butter and some fruit. Nothing fancy, but it is breakfast. Plus juice, coffee or tea.
WiFi is good, everything works, staff is very friendly. I would stay there again.

Great location in the heart of Petaling St & close to Central Market & the LRT. Great view and place to relax on their deck. Quaint rooms and some had interesting glass-enclosed inward facing mini verandas. Friendly staff, too.

Certes la chambre n 'est pas immense mais l'essentiel est là : la literie très confortable , la propreté , et le calme .Cet hôtel est un oasis au coeur du quartier chinois .Réception OK pour tout renseignements. La localisation est parfaite.
Je recommande .Il est évident que lors de mon prochain déplacement sur KL je repasse par cet hôtel.

Het hotel heeft een uitstekende prijs/prestatie verhouding.
Er wordt een goed ontbijt geserveerd en er is een groot, comfortabel dakterras.
Het dagelijkse onderhoud laat niets te wensen over.
Het hotel is gelegen aan een populaire goederenmarkt, waar je op veel plaatsen uitstekend en betaalbaar kunt eten en drinken.
De kamer is niet groot, maar van alle gemakken voorzien.

Staff was really nice to us, they all spoke good English. the hotel is in a very good location, right in the heart of China town.
The rooms are small, really small, not much more space than the bed. The windows are not exactly windows, its just a glass towards the inner part of the hotel, you can't really open it to let fresh air in, they don't actually open.
Overall, its the best price/quality you will find in the entire town. I would recomend and I would stay there again.

It's an amazing hotel in all aspects, just lacking in table and shelf in the room and also hanging places in the bathroom. Very conveniently located in the Chinatown.

Vi havde en fantastisk oplevelse med dette hotel. Personalet var søde og deres terrasse med udsigt over Chinatown var så skøn! God kaffe, gode senge og velfungerende bad.

Surprisingly good hotel, quite in the night, comfortable room.
Cleanliness isn't great though, and the main problem is weird door to the bathroom, not sure why people think that having a glass door with holes everywhere is a good idea. Staying here with more than one person in the room isn't a great idea, but if you travelling alone - the place is almost perfect for the price.
The second small con is that "window" is heading inside the building (inner yard). Actually it's great, because you don't have to hear all the noises from the outside, but curtains should be better, cause they are not blocking the light properly.

Super hotel direkt in Chinatown. Die Zimmer ohne Fenster sind etwas klein aber für ein paar Nächte völlig in Ordnung. Frühstück ist auch super und die U-Bahn Station in der Nähe ist eine zentrale Linie von der aus alles erreicht werden kann.

チャイナタウンど真ん中という最高の立地の割にうるさくはありません。
部屋でWi-Fiが全く使えない状況でしたが、それ以外は大満足です。
また泊まりたいと思います。

The hotel was in busy chinatown but somehow the room was quiet. It was very very basic but good value for money. I liked the people working at the desk.

El lugar está bien. El desayuno muy bien, la habitación pequeña pero está bien si te quedas uno o máximo 2 días en Kuala Lumpur. Está en pleno china town, eso puede ser positivo si quieres recorrerlo y hacer compras pero de noche es muy sucio y bastante oscuro.

The room was a bit smaller than I thought. Everything else was good. Room was cosy and clean. The staff members were very nice. There is a train station near by that was very convinient.
We were all good but please be aware:
It was a bit hard find the entrance and the taxi could not go into the Chaina town so we had to walk for 3 minutes to get to the hotel. NO wifi in the rooms only in the common area. There is no fancy breakfast. Just some bread, fruits and coffee.
We had good experience.

the room itself is very small but tidy, and only 3rd floor got tv and window, 2nd floor has only window and if you want a tv, you gotta pay extra for tv service.even for a water you gotta go to reception to drink it for free, and i dont know if its a advantage or disadvantage but the hotel is at the middle of the night market. but they have really nice breakfast and cafe with a good view.

It's was a great experience to stay in such a nice architectural hotel. The service was good.
It is definitely a great choice for backpackers however, as we are driving there, we have difficulties in getting a secured parking overnight with a reasonable parking fees.

i enjoy my stay there. Other than the bathroom water temperature slow to response to desire temperature at the beginning and the mattress making noise when we move, the others was great. i like it, will stay again in future.

It is located just in the middle of China town, location was very good for us. The room was pretty quiet, the noise of the market was not audibe at all. Please note that even ther is a window, it is cannot be opened, and there is a wiew for the opposite room just a few meters from ours.
Unfortunately, there is no table, cupboard, chair, wardrobe or anything you can put your clothes.
For breakfast there was a croissant (fresh, warm, quite big, but only one), butter and jams.
All in all, it is really basic, but clean and quiet, it was fine for this price.

Mitten in chinatown ist immer was los. Easy mit öffentlichen LRT zu erreichen. Von der Terrasse lässt sich das Leben ohne viel Geschrei beobachten.

Flinkt personale, god morgenmad. Rustikt/råt/minimalistisk hoteldesign. Små værelser uden aflægningsmulighed for tøj. Midt i Chinatown med bedste beliggenhed for at nå byens attraktioner til fods.

Das Hotel ist direkt auf dem Nachtmarkt gelegen, weswegen man mit dem Taxi nicht direkt vorfahren konnte, aber es ist nicht sehr weit zu laufen von der Hauptstraße. Auch die Ubahn-Sation ist in 5min zu erreichen. Das Hotel hat für Sightseeing die perfekte Lage. Das kleine Zimmer hatte nur Platz um einen Koffer auszubreiten, war aber sehr sauber. Meine Schwester hat in der Nacht sehr viele Stiche bekommen, wir sahen allerdings keine Viecher. Wir meldeten es trotzdem an der Rezeption und bekamen direkt ein größeres Zimmer, in dem genug Platz war um beide Koffer auszubreiten, danach gab es auch keine weiteren Stiche mehr. Auf dem Zimmer gab es Trinkwasser, was jeden Tag erneuert wurde und auch während des Tages an der Rezeption immer wieder aufgefüllt werden konnte. Auch die Pflegeprodukte hatten einen guten Geruch. Das Frühstück war klein, 1 Croissant mit verschiedenen Marmeladen, dazu ein wenig Obst und ein Heißgetränk. Es hat genügt aber ist ausbaufähig. Schöne Terrasse auf der man bei gutem Wetter frühstücken kann.

Der Aufenthalt im Lantern Hotel war super, jedoch waren die Zimmer enorm klein. Die Regendusche ist gut, Sauberkeit auch. Es gibt super freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück und eine sehr tolle Dachterrasse. Man ist mitten im Geschehen, um Kuala Lumpur zu erkunden!

Hotel nel cuore di Chinatown, carino e pulito, bagno e doccia molto spaziosi. Lo spazio in camera non è tantissimo, ma quello che a noi è piaciuto meno è che la finestra non si potesse aprire.... dopo la doccia si creava un'umidità pazzesca in camera, si doveva accendere il condizionatore ma comunque anche alla mattina non si cambiava l'aria...

Very good service. The employees are very friendly.
The breakfast is good (especially the coffee).
However, the room is a bit stifling due to the closed windows (not possible to open).

Hotel jest idealny, jezeli ktoś chce sie zatrzymać w dzielnicy Chinatown. W samym centrum przy głównym targu. Mimo swego położenia hotel jest bardzo cichy i mozna sobie pozwolić na spokojny sen. Hotel ma świetny styl i taras z widokiem na targ. Jedyny mankament to WIFI, które dziala tylko w okolicach recepcji i lobby. Dojście do marketu oraz kolejki zajmuje tylko 3 minuty. Gorąco polecam.

Great roof terrace with views over the busy Chinatown streets with drinks on offer for a reasonable price.
They served a tasty and simple breakfast. The room was minimal but comfortable and well decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it whole-heartedly.

Kleine Zimmer, aber das scheint üblich in KL in dieser Preisklasse. Sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, einfaches aber gutes Frühstücksbüffet (Obst, Toast, Marmeladen, Käse, Saft) und sehr guter Kaffee! Schöne Terrasse über dem wuseligen Treiben im Basar von Chinatown. Das Hotel liegt mittendrin. Zimmer sind aber alle zum Innenhof ausgerichtet und vom Straßenlärm hört man nachts nichts. Mir hats gefallen und ich würde dort sicher wieder wohnen.

以前のコメントで、ホテルの入り口が判りにくいとの記載がありましたが、普通に判りました。特徴的な外観のため、直ぐに見つけることができます。ホテル内も清潔に保たれており、値段的に十分良いと思います。

Ich wollte die Hauptstadt von Malaysia besuchen, um dieses Land kennenzulernen. Ich habe mir fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten angeschaut. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Stadt. Mitten im Chinatown. In der Nähe des Hotels gibt es eine U-Bahn- und S-Bahnhaltestelle. Daher ist eine Fahrt mit dem Taxi nicht erforderlich.

The hotel was decent for 2 days unfortunately the lift is broken dunno long its been broken or whether it will be fixed but it will be a struggle especially with heavy suitcase its noisy during the day because of the market below

Dislike-Hotel entrance not easily located.Opening Toilet Door by the small hole can cause injury.

部屋が狭いのは仕方ないとして、ビールや水を買ってきても置いておくテーブルがないのが辛い。
冷蔵庫はあの狭さでは無理だと思うので、せめてベッドサイドにでもテーブルがあった方がいい。

屋台に入り口が囲まれていてわかり難いです。入り口がオートロックになっているので入るときはインターホーンを押さないと入れません。レセプションは3階にあります。部屋は値段相応です。綺麗にされてるほうだと思う。シャワーですがお湯が出ません。

The hotel is well located in the heart of Chinatown. The room was spartan but adequate. This hotel offers a nice continental breakfast in the morning. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, this may not be the ideal place to stay for those over their mid-twenties who have outgrown hostel private room style accommodations. If you are on a budget, but value your privacy, this hotel may suite you.
Consideration: was a shower that leaked into the main room and hallway, heading out of the room.
Plus: Proximity to great, inexpensive food.

KLセントラル駅からＬＲＴで一駅のパサール・スニ駅から歩いて10分程の中華街の中心にあります。
私の泊まった部屋はテレビ、冷蔵庫なし。小さな窓がかろうじてありました。各階の入り口がセキュリティロックされておりカードキーで解除しますがこのカードキーの感度が悪くすぐ交換してもらいました。
朝食は１階屋上の中庭で中華街を見下ろしながら食べる事ができます。
立地を考えるとコスパは良いと思います。

Ich kann die gute Bewertung nicht nachvollziehen. Positiv sind jedenfalls die Lage und der Service anzumerken. Das Frühstück das es gab, war zwar wenig, aber ausreichend und dafür sehr gut (sehr guter Kaffee und -mittlerweile keine Croissants mehr sondern sehr schmackhaftes Brot mit Kernen, und unter anderem leckere Kokosmarmelade.
Die Zimmer sind jedoch sehr dürftig. Quietschendes Bett und vor allem sehr muffig, feucht und leichter Schimmelgeruch (kein Wunder, schließlich lassen sich die Fenster auch nicht öffnen).
Alles in allem trotzdem empfehlenswert, aber nur für Leute mit schmalem Geldbeutel die die Nähe zur Stadt nicht missen wollen.

Für junge Leute, die eine Nacht mal in Chinatown verbringen möchten ist es ok.
