We loved our stay. The location is so cute, and close to town center with night markets and temples(with the monk giving ceremony). The staff here is amazing, we were treated with so much kindness. We booked activities through them and rides and they had lots of information. The breakfast was light but also very yummy. The rooms are not very sound proof, you can sometimes hear other people walking above. But We loved staying here. Highly recommend

Great villa . Colonial UNESCO style. Air conditionning and very cosy rooms. Breakfast is excellent and staff super réactive.

Villa hotel very well located close to the main street, temples, and Mékong rivershore in Luang Prabang. Neighborhood is very quiet. The owner and his spouse were amazing, available at any Time, helpfull and so kind with the customers. I recommend that Villa hotel 100%

The service was great, very warm welcome by the owner , Room is nice and clean , not far from night market and close to Xiang thong temple 2 mins by walk , room price is reasonable .. totally will back here again next time .

Absolut top!!! Haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft vor Ort um 12 Tage verlängert - das sagt alles! Das Personal und Mr. Bill (der Betreiber) sind eine Wucht! Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt! Nochmal danke für eine tolle Zeit!

Staff are very helpful and speak nice English. The location is great that it’s near city center. Basically you can travel around and visit major attractions in Luang Prabang on foot easily everyday living this hotel. The environment is nice and cozy. Room is big, clean and well equipped. Breakfast is great. Koi pond and the garden is a delight and sth happy to see everyday. Totally cost effective and worth your stay!

Clean, professional, and well located. Helpful staff, and good amenities. There's a corner store close by, and it's just a short walk to some great coffee shops and local bars.

We really enjoyed our stay at Khoum Xieng Thong Villa! The rooms are huge and nicely decorated. The garden area is lovely. Service and breakfast were very good. The location was fantastic! It was located in the heart of the temple area on the peninsula and had great ambience. It was ideal to get to all the sites, night market, and restaurants and shops. To top it off, the room was excellent value for the price we paid. We would definitely stay here again!

Great room, huge, spotless, four poster bed, really well done. Near the far end of the main drag so quiet, we were overlooking the monastery. Set in a lovely garden where we had breakfast every morning. Staff cheerful and helpful.

Gostei bastante do pessoal da recepção, que me ajudou até com um transporte que nem tinha sido contratado com eles. O único fator negativo foi com a ducha, que esfriava em pouquíssimo tempo. Como só fiquei uma noite, consegui terminar a estadia sem precisar de assistência.

Tranquillité. Mais après une réservation de 2 jours le propriétaire n’a pas su prolonger mon séjour même en changeant de chambre, comme je lui avais suggéré, manque flagrant d’initiative de sa part. (Je suis donc allé dans un autre hôtel où l’employé a su me réserver un séjour de 2 semaines avec 2 changements de chambre).

This property is in a quiet street, close to many restaurants and massage places. People working here are friendly and helpful. I booked a Deluxe Family Room with garden view as the photos looked beautiful and I needed a room to accommodate three adults. Unfortunately the first room given had only one window and was very dark - nothing like the photos. We asked for the room in photos but it was booked for the whole time when we were there. The other room on offer was lighter with more windows, but still downstairs (we expected that it will be upstairs). If you decide to book this type of room, contact the property in advance to confirm which room you will be allocated. Apart from this issue everything else was good. The breakfast is tasty with plenty of choices. There are coffee/tea facilities in the reception.

Pleasant staff, family run essestially.
Recommendations for tours need to be better as 2 places we visited were not appropriate. The pottery place is practically no existence and quality of products is worse then children's school products and we had to go over by ferry (safety questionable). Weaving place is expensive and essentially a place selling products and not for viewing of process. Driver is not professional, like dropping us at a nondescript place at some isolated location for a good loas lunch. We had to walk back to hotel and found him lunching near hotel. We had to walk to find our own lunch place in town which is not appreciated on a warm day. No seat belts for passengers. Better off to check in town.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. My daughter left her phone in the taxi and the owner went out of his way to help us get it back. He was just as excited as we were to get it back. The ladies working there went out of there way to help in anyway they could. They returned my dirty laundry is just a few hours. They have great fresh smoothies on the breakfast menu. The hotel is on the far end of town and a bit of a walk to the city center but there are several restaurants within a five minute walk. . Tuk tuks were located close by.

Nous avons eu l'impression d'être plus dans une chambre d'hôtes que dans un hôtel.
Cela dit les chambres sont spacieuses et agréable et le personnel très attentionné.
Particulièrement bien placé, en bout de la rue principale, tout à proximité sans les nuisance du passage.

It was a nice small hotel. The beds were hard. The room was spacious and we has AC and hot water. Close to everything that mattered. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was decent. Two musts in Luang Prabang are the the temple on top the hill in the middle of town and the Kuang si waterfall. The coconut “donut holes” are delicious.

this hotel is little bit far away from down town around 15mins[by walk] . That's perfect for traveler who wanna relax and far from noise. There are many restaurant and shop around the hotel. The is boutique and comfort but the air-condition not made me feel cold, btw the staff is very god nice and friendly. The can give a good advice to you! Nice Hotel!

Hard to beat the location in the heart of the old town down a quiet side street. The family room was clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly

Run by a local family, the Khoum Xieng Thong guesthouse is located on a quiet street off the Main Street. While on the far side of town, you can easily walk to the Night Market and Tuk-Tuks are readily available. It’s next to a temple, and the monks get up early, so bring your earplugs.

Habitaciones muy grandes y limpias, bien situado, el checking más rápido del mundo: básicamente bill nos dijo hello, nos dio la llave y ya. Recomendable. Eso sí creo no cruzamos más de 10 palabras con la gente del hotel... yo creo que por timidez de ellos más que por otra cosa....

ルアンパバーンの半島の奥の方で、ワットシェーントーンのすぐ隣にあるゲストハウスで、庭には錦鯉が泳ぐ池があったりグッピーが泳ぐ水鉢があったりと自然を活かした印象です。繁華街から離れているためとても静かな立地でした。
部屋はエアコンが完備されており、湿度の多い外とは無縁でよかったです。トイレやシャワーなどの水回りも比較的きれいでした。
スタッフ特にBillは後も話せて、いろいろな度のアドバイスをしてくれました。朝になると托鉢を近所で見ることができました。朝食のバナナパンケーキはマストオーダーで、ふっくらと仕上がっていて濃厚なバナナの味がして、私は最終日に注文したのですが、毎日食べたいと思ったほどでした。
観光よりもリラクゼーションを主体としたルアンパバーンの旅行のため、いかにリラックスできるかと言う所でホテルを選ぶのが良いと思います。その点ではこのゲストハウスはとても私に合っていました。

I had a nice room upstairs with a great view on a lovely property. The rooms are nicely decorated but could use a deep cleaning. Lots of dust, grime and cobwebs in the corners however sheets were clean. Towels seem clean but stained so that is a much needed improvement. Also in my room and other friends room plumbing was an issue: flood in her room and in my room the water was slow to drain from shower and sink. Still a lovely stay, nice staff and breakfast. Perhaps a bit pricey for overall experience though.

We've booked family room 3 nights with prepaid, but we stayed 2 nights. Because they've received double order. I complained it, they arranged us 1 night of other room accross the road. The host of Khoum Xiengthong was kind and the room was clean.

I loved it here, the room was clean, the internet was quick and the beds were beyond comfortable.
The place is RIGHT next to a monetary, so expect to hear the monks at 4 am on Tuesdays. I thought it was gorgeous, but I'm a morning person.
The staff was helpful and easy going. They have bikes you can use for hire! The breakfast was simple, but hearty. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The owner was very kind and friendly. He let us check in early and on the day we checked out, he let us leave our bags in the reception and watched them for us.
The downside to this place is its cleanliness and facilities. There were cobwebs, spiders, and other insects. The sheets and towels didn't look very clean. The bathroom was also not that great.
I think I would have been okay with the lack of cleanliness if it were cheaper. The cost was mid-level, but the cleanliness was that of a cheap place.

Overall location was perfect and it was OK for the price. However we were not given the room we had booked (price difference was about 10 USD for the stay only, but still not pleasant) and service was very slow, especially for breakfast.
Overall the owner has retired and his son has taken over, we can see that the property has been declining since.

The Area of the hotel was wonderful. Mr. Bill was friendly, but not around that much. Much of the other staff didn't speak English. Cooked breakfast was nice, but depending on when we went to breakfast, you could wait a while. The beds are extremely hard and uncortable. The room was a decent size for a family of 4.

Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber, die sanitären Einrichtungen allerdings überholungsbedürftig.
Die ruhige Lage im Mündungsbereich der Flüsse zwischen Klöstern ist sehr zu empfehlen, da zudem eine Reihe guter Restaurants gut zu erreichen ist.
Das Frühstück ist, wie so oft in Asien in dieser Preisklasse, ganz OK, aber nichts besonderes.

숙소 에어컨 냉방이 아쉬운 부분이었고 화장실도 너무 오래되서 좀 지전분한 면이 있습니다.
그러나 숙소 위치와 사장님은 친절하셔서 컨플레인에 바로 대응하시는 모습은 좋았습니다.

9 days: room swept 1 time; new towels 1 time; room never cleaned; no tv for 4 days; no normal provision of all that one expects = bad service

My family and I sleep on the bottom floor. We can’t sleep all night! People walking so pound up top our room.
Recommended to rent upstairs.

Boende som betalat i förväg flyttas till sämre rum än man bokat och de bättre rummen hyrs ut till andra. Inga förklaringar ges till detta, misstänker krasst ekonomiska skäl.

Beware - We booked our room through Orbitz and the money was taken from our credit card in December. When we contacted the guesthouse before we were due to arrive (to arrange transport from the airport) we were told there were no rooms. When we called, the proprietor told us he was overbooked and there were no rooms. We had to book a different room at the last minute (expensive since it was Chinese New Years) and had to hassle with Orbitz to get our money back (whcih they did finally - but only after more than one hour on the phone).
