Really liked our stay at Star Shell. The staff are excellent and super helpful. We were travelling with two young kids and honestly their service and friendliness really made our trip so much easier. We were always helped with our luggage without asking and with no expectation of a tip. I would highly recommend using theit airport service.
The room was excellent and surprisingly modern and spacious. With an integrated rollaway bed, it was enough for the 4 of us.
Very good location too, the beach is a 2 min walk and lots of good cafes and restaurants nearby, many of which are open till late.
Some small improvements that could be made. The bathroom needs a vent fan as it gets quite warm and can’t leave the window open overnight due to the main road outside. AC wasn’t on before we came into the room so it was quite warm.
However overall a great hotel and we will definitely be staying here again!

Kaikki toimi kuten pitää. Puhdas huone ja hyvä lokaatio. Bussilla pääsee suoraan lentokentälle ja takaisin ja vielä moottoripyörä taksilla nopeasti ja halvalla. Harmi ettei kukaan hotellin henkilökunnasta osaa puhua suomea tai ruotsia.

Todo perfecto.
Muy limpio, el personal muy amable y colaborador, con bar/restaurante y buena ubicación.
Tanto si estás de paso como para varios días es perfecto. Traslados al aeropuerto.
Como entrada o salida del país es muy conveniente porque se encuentra justo al principio de la isla, a menos de diez minutos del aeropuerto. Tiene cerca tiendas de comestibles, lugares para comer y a un minuto de la playa.
La habitación muy limpia y cómoda. TV Plana con canales internacionales, camada cómoda y grande, baño completo con gel y champú, mucho espacio para guardar la ropa y pertenencias, nevera con minibar, café y te con hervidor y agua gratis, aire acondicionado y ventilador, cortinas opacas; en definitiva todo un acierto.
Lo recomiendo y cuando vuelva a pasar por aquí repetiré seguro.

Wonderful staff, but a lot of construction going on in the area.

Only 5 star on the ratings but i would give 11 stars. The management and the staff is extra helpful and the rooms are clean and comfy. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel, very clean and spacious room. Cafe downstairs with really nice and cheap food. Have an airport transfer service which is super easy and convenient.

For the price this hotel exceeded my expectations. The guys working there are extremely nice. The location is good. Continental breakfast was good and the transportation was also great

Can't say much about the hotel because we didn't end up staying there since there was a bit of a mix up of over-booking so Ayesha (I think that was her name) booked us into another hotel for the night. She picked us up from the airport to drop us off ensuring that we had breakfast organised and called to confirm pickup in the morning as well.
The service is seriously above and beyond amazing.
We didn't hear very good reviews about staying on the mainland before going to a resort but I would definitely recommend Ayesha and Star Shell.

Staffs are extremely kind, mr. John and Muhamed were always smiling and trying to help, very good hospitality.
Room is great for the price, breakfast has toasts, eggs and sausage.

They were nice and accommodating and the walking distance to the beach and shops close by was nice too.

bom hotel para uma estadia curta.
O quarto ficava no primeiro andar, com janela virada para a cozinha e isso foi um incômodo, pois sentíamos um cheiro de cozinha subindo pela janela do banheiro.
Esse foi o único ponto negativo.
O quarto, apesar de pequeno, era confortável.
Cama boa e ar condicionado funcionava bem.
O hotel disponibiliza água gratuitamente nos quartos.
usamos o transfer (pago à parte) para voltar ao aeroporto e funcionou super bem.

Good value hotel. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast. Rooms are a little small but comfortable beds and pillows. My only complaint is not the hotel’s fault, that is, there is a mosque nearby that provides 4 am serenading each morning.

I got the receptionist behaviour good and they welcomed me warmly.
Room is as proper as mentioned in website.

The staff was wonderful. I really appreciated being met at the airport after my long travel. The food was very good and the coffee specifically was delicious. The area was a bit noisy with traffic and I guess we were by a mosque so we heard the five daily prayers over the loudspeaker. It was great for a three night stay.

Por una noche o dos más que correcto. La bienvenida ha sido muy agradable, teniamos cena y desayuno incluydos que han sido completos. La habitación un pelin vieja pero todo funcionaba bien, estamos satisfechos.
Está al lado de la playa, agradable para dar un paseo después de un largo viaje.

Nice hotel for a night layover awaiting transfer to a resort. The staff were all lovely and helped me sort out the details of the transfer. The rooms are a bit worn down and there is peeling paint on the walls, but they have the basic amenities.

The staff were good and all but I was asked the second time at 2AM when i brought my wife whether i have already given my id card details and all. its funny because at checkin before they hand over the key all this is confirmed and i felt insulted because this question was asked. other than that stay was good all staff were friendly.

Wifi is slow. Bathroom is weird with door and curtain. Rest is good. Service is nice

包來回接送, 職員親切友善, 房間整潔, 夜機到達停留一晚的好酒店. 早餐有煎雙蛋腸仔多士一份, 以這個房價包接送計已經不能挑剔.

Our flight landed at 9am and we were able to check in early... that was greatly appreciated after 48hrs of travel. This area of Male is still under construction but we felt safe even walking around at 11pm. Lots of food, cafes, shop options within walking distance. Would love to come back in a few years to see the growth of this part of the city.

接近機塲，有免費接送服務。附近海灘環璄一般，樓下有潛店及小商店，比較方便，酒店整體滿意。見議只作短暫停留，不適合渡假。

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms were visually appealing. A/C was either on full blast or off and there are only sheets provided in the room, so you end up hot or cold all night. The bathroom floor was all wet when we checked in which was a little odd. Sound proofing is non-existent as you can hear everything from the lobby echoing up the staircase. All in all if your expectations are inline with the area and the price this is a perfectly fine option for the night.

Relatively modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room had all the conveniences but was very small. Kind of like a boat cabin. Breakfast was filling, cooked fresh for us when we sat down. Very convenient to airport with free shuttle. Important because taxi service very limited.

I was in room 103 and the room itself was okay but you could hear everything in the hotel reception and restaurant from.1st thing to latecat night.
I also found that most of the plug sockets didn't work because somebody had tripped the fuses but I was left to fix that on my own.
Generally okay and may have been better in a different room but i wouldnt go back, sorry.

Хорошее расположение и удобная постель. При смыве унитаза, жуткая вонь, очень маленький номер, дверь в ванную комнату упирается в постель. Завтрак это три крохотные сосиски, одно яйцо, три тоста, мини упаковка масла и джема, три дольки апельсина, яблока, вода и жуткий сок. Персонал не очень дружеский.

附近沒甚麼熟吃的，有少量士多。房間沒有提供牙刷，沐浴露和洗髮乳幾乎沒有了，沒有吹風機。在機場一出來找不到接待員，幸好有其他酒店接待員幫手。早過7點退房也有早餐，不過要帶走，一個蘋果一個簡單三明治和一包奶。

The hotel was average for the price we paid for: it included free shuttle to and from the airport and breakfast but no other amenities. Our blanket was left crumpled in the closet which was disappointing.

冷蔵庫が宿泊した部屋には無かった。他の部屋にはあった。５日間の宿泊なのでかなり辛かった。

My room was filled with cigarette odor despite being a non-smoking room. The bed sheets had stains, the bathroom didn’t have hand soap nor toilet paper and we had to ask for it. The experience doesn’t justify the pictures, stay away.

古く、狭いです。トイレは臭く、アメニティ一切なし。タオルはバスタオルのみで、水もミネラルウォーターではなく沸騰させた水？怖くて飲めませんでした。
送迎付きでしたが、迎えに1時間待たされました。
到着後2回も連絡入れ、たった空港からホテル10分の距離でなぜ？タクシーで行けばよかった。
挙句に日本みたいに時間きっかりとはいかないからと、、、オススメしません。

Nice to have free pickup n drop off to airport... But hotel breakfast need lots improve. Room too small.
