The hotel staff was excellent. The location of the hotel is perfectly placed in the old city easy to find and very close to the SBB train station. The rooms are beautifully updated. Have a very Swiss modern feel. I suggest getting a room on the front side of the hotel, preferably a higher floor.

Great stay we had 2 rooms and both were unique! Clean well maintained and close to old town

We were upgraded, which was quite a nice surprise. Check in was very easy, reception was very friendly. Room was large, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Location was also very convenient to the train station but also shopping areas.
Breakfast was the only criticism- the food was fresh but for the price, I would have appreciated a few more warm options.

A lovely modern hotel in the heart of Basel. The room was large with lots of nice touches such as a free minibar. Despite being near a number of bars and clubs we found the soundproofing excellent.

Picked the Hotel for closeness to the station a 10 minute walk.
Stylish hotel in the heart of Basel in walking distance to all the major attractions.
Lots of dining choices nearby.
Reception staff excellent,room superbly large by European standards,breakfast good variety.

We enjoyed our stay here very much, the location is very central to the train station and trams, as well as easily walkable to main tourist attractions. The hotel is on a bustling street with late night bars. The breakfast buffet is provided with fee, but it was very delicious.

Very nice and comfortable rooms. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The location is great, walk to many old town areas, and central to many tram lines.

A real oasis in the hustle of the city with short walks to the central train station and old town. Free refreshments in the minibar and an excellent Bluetooth speaker was icing on the cake

Super convenient location in the heart of everything. Near a ton of restaurants, easy to access the transit system, and walk to the Rhine. Highly recommend

The interiors and room quality is excellent. However the hotel is in a shopping and restaurant centre so it feels very odd and there is a great deal of external noise. Our very large window looks out on to a service yard...
That said the location in town is good, so fine for a one night stopover.

Lovely hotel in centre of Basel. Nice staff, nice breakfast (extra) and free mini bar (not re stocked during stay which was a shame). Only irritation - very noisy of a weekend as hotel is right on Main Street on top of bars. Woke on Saturday night / Sunday morning by a brawl outside window. To be fair hotel make you aware of risk of noise - but only after you have booked it. Nice place tho and very pleasant rooms and very comfortable with pleasant open plan design.

Large beautiful and comfortable room, only diwnside is a pet peeve, not enough places to hang towels, and they dont provide a bag for taking dirty laundry home. Really good location, in the middle of everything.

We received a free room upgrade due to the bad weather. Room was gorgeous and included a free minibar and card that gave free transport around the city and discounts at certain museums.

As Americans, we are not used to not having A/C. A bit uncomfortable. But the staff were amazing helpful and friendly. Interesting location near lots of open restaurants and bars.

Ist ein supernettes Team vom Empfang - „Ja ich besorge einen Korkenzieher“ übers Frühstücksteam und auch die Putzfee - alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Es war auch null laut, allerdings war ich im April da und es war eher kühl. Draußen sitzen war jetzt nicht so angesagt - von daher war mein Zimmer auch echt ruhig

Very nice hotel-clean, close to train station (walked it both ways), would stay here again. Only issue, which is part of the hotel design, is that the area of the bathroom is not walled off-instead, there are sliding doors that are covered in a heavy paper, which does not make them soundproof. Too easy to hear what is going on in the bathroom if there are two people in the room. But I would still return to this hotel.

I loved the spacious super dark and quiet room in the middle of the action. Breakfast on the rooftop was my highlight - it is beautiful and delicious. Gerne wieder !

Wunderbare, zentral gelegene Unterkunft mit moderner Einrichtung und hochwertigen Toilettenartikel (Soeder). Parkhaus Steinen in unmittelbarer Nähe (Ausgang City nehmen, 3 Etage, CHF 25). Zimmer mit Terrasse, Nr. 45.
Personal aufmerksam und hilfreich. Wir kommen wieder.
