Calm retreat in the heart of the city. Close to sights and easy to reach from the airport.
Staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. Aesop products give a wonderful scent to the room and luxurious touch when showering.

Nice Modern Hotel on the Edge of Chinatown close to the big Maybank building. Excellent wrestling and lovely pool area.

Room was compacted, clean and functional to a good standard. Aesop toiletries were decent and lovely linen slippers.
Friendly doormen and receptionists. All very good except that we got no views from our room.

Beautiful room, comfortable large bed, nice toiletries, good breakfast and cocktail bar. Staff we friendly and very helpful. Hotel design is amazing and quality of fixtures and fittings is top draw.

Perfect hotel in a perfect location for a city break. Luxury and serenity, right in the guts of the bustle of Chinatown.
Every design detail was stunning and considered, right down to the kettle in the room and the buttons in the lift. From the wall art to the lobby chairs to the tiles in the pool; everything was beautiful it made you feel fancy but also full of heart so you felt truly comfortable.
The staff across the board were an absolute delight, relaxed, friendly and helpful to a tee. Special mention for the breakfast wait staff who made the start of each day such a delight.
The breakfast was excellent and beyond generous from food to service and all things in between. The nasi mamba was amazing, the granola was perfect, the coffee was great and the whole experience really put you in the best possible place to start the day.
We looked a few different hotels in different areas and feel confident that we lucked out and ended up at the best of the best. LOVED everything about it and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I loved my stay at the Else and highly recommend it to anyone visiting KL. It was the perfect boutique hotel experience. The service was impeccable and the hotel was beautifully curated - it had a lovely library, unique art work and luxe bathroom toiletries. I found the location very convenient as well. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend you book a room that overlooks the pool. My room faced the street and it was quite loud due to night time activities.

We enjoyed the location and short walk petaling street, central market and MRT station. Breakfast is really great we get to try different variety and is fresh made to order. Will definitely consider staying again for future visit.

Excellent experience. From check in where we were greeted with cold tea, very clean rooms though on small size (as advertised on the room description) beautiful design and materials. Very attentive staff. Great location near central market and temples in Chinatown. Lively area. Our corner room looked out over the intersection. Amenities including gym were very high quality. Restaurant was great as well.

The location is perfect for visitting many sights...ALL staff are absolutely welcoming and helpful even after you have checked out...very comfortable beds and pillows..

The hotel is a brutalist conversion of the old Lee Rubber building.
the staff are fantastic and the rooms are large and modern. the bathrooms were a good size with huge shower. it was lacking wardrobe space, and the toilet was separate with a glazed wall, which if used at night lit up the whole room.
the swimming pool was a good size with a great wine bar on the same level.
The hotel restaurant was very good, but full of instagram wannabees. it seemed that most people turned up with large bunches of flowers and just wanted to take photos of food/flowers/themselves rather than eating.

I was truly impressed with the exceptional service at this hotel, especially with the complimentary upgrade I received upon arrival. From the moment I stepped in, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The room was immaculate, exuding a delightful fragrance, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the handwritten welcome note on the bed and a soothing chamomile note left at night. Every time I left the hotel, a friendly security staff member opened the door for me, even assisting with my luggage upon arrival. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious, and I must give a special shout-out to Brenda, who provided outstanding table service throughout my meals. The breakfast options were varied and tasty, making mornings a delight. Additionally, the outdoor pool was impeccably clean and offered plenty of seating options for relaxation. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again!

Just a short walk from Pasar Seni station (itself only 1 stop from KL Sentral) it's in an excellent location - Central Market is across the road, Petaling Street even closer.
Merdeka 118 being so close was a surprise.
Being right on the edge of Chinatown you are spoilt for choice when it comes to food, and there are many hidden speakeasy bars.
The hotel is beautifully restored; we had an Urban room which was spacious and very comfortable.
All the staff are polite and friendly. Special mentions to Brenda and Ki Ki in Raw restaurant (the rest of restaurant and breakfast staff were excellent, but nobody wore name badges). The good in Raw is delicious - breakfast portions are very generous, dinner was delicious.
There is a good pool area, though the method of ordering poolside snacks/drinks is a little clumsy.
Overall, an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended. As a frequent traveller around Asia, this is an absolute jem. The dining options are faultless. The staff are very professional and friendly. They do their best to make Malaysia a place you want to come back to, which we definitely will be doing.

Beautiful, well designed hotel. Corner Room 501 had wrap around terraces with view of the Petronas and tower. Beautiful at night. Staff is welcoming and gracious. Naga was especially helpful and friendly. Be prepared to be awakened early with very loud call to prayer. We liked it but heard some guests complaining.

Gorgeous hotel. Amazing infinity pool overlooking iconic skyline. Delicious three-course breakfast. Very friendly staff and modern room amenities. Highly recommended. Also it's located just steps away from some of KL's top attractions.

It’s in a hipster and convenient neighbourhood with colorful bars and eateries. Friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The decor was very tasteful and comforting. Don’t miss the great breakfast at Raw.

This is truly an oasis in hot and humid KL. The staff were fantastic my entire stay. Breakfast is good. Cooked to order, not buffet. Not a large selection, but enough. I will stay here again next time I’m in KL.

シャワーのスペースが広く、アメニティも揃っている。チャイナタウンのど真ん中に位置しており、食べ歩きに最適だった。朝食はビュッフェではないが結構ボリュームがあり、味もよい。それに近所のエッグタルトや豆腐花など、MYR10程度でイヤというほど満腹になる。ホテルの前の果物の屋台でマンゴスチン十数個をMYR10で買って食べたが、トロリとしておいしかった。

A small hotel with friendly and efficient staff, they remember your name, assist with choosing activities and check if you have found your way. It is a beautiful building with comfortable bed and room and everything one could wish for.

Room size was good, design was great but soundproofing was not. The one night we were there, the road was being re-laid after midnight! The construction noise felt like it was in the room. We reported this and had no apology from the night staff, but we were granted a room move when we requested. Would have appreciated an acknowledgement of the disruption.

On my last night I needed sleep for an early flight, there was a party being held on rooftop above my room. The party went on very late and was EXTREMELY loud. It sounded like a live concert was going on outside my room with the music and people literally screaming and cheering. Other than that, it’s a really nice hotel. Good breakfast, friendly staff, nicely located in China Town.

Highly recommend the Else KL. We had a wonderful stay - location, service, gorgeous interiors, lovely people, great pool and restaurant. We'll be back!!

It was very nice until last night that room is not tidy up with trash still on the counter, dead insert next to the bed and tissues was not refill. Location is very close to China town and it was pretty noise during the night.
Breakfast is excellent.

Beautifully renovated and well located for chinatown. Liked the bar and breakfast. Didn't like that there were road construction works at 1am and when we complained, there was no apology, plus we had to demand a different room to sleep in because of the noise and the ground was vibrating!
