I booked not knowing that it was very new (started operations on 30th March 2026 per front desk). I booked 2 separate booking as I stayed for 1 night upon arrival in Guangzhou and left for Guilin and returned to hotel to stay another 2 nights.
The 1st stay we were assigned rooms in the centre, aircon was cool enough.
The 2nd stay we were assigned corner rooms and these were bad as the aircon was not strong enough so the room felt very stuffy. The seating area is in a hidden corner so there is practically no ventilation since it’s behind a pillar. Guangzhou summers are so warm even we who are used to 30+ degrees temperatures felt like we were baking.
Overall hotel is nice but location is a distance from Beijing road, you will have to walk the back of the building through a carpark if you want a shortcut to Beijing rd. And I was unable to find the hotel name on Amap, turns out you have to search using the Chinese name.
