Hotel Sint Nicolaas is a timeless euro-cozy hotel that was absolutely perfect for us. A quick walk from the train station. We arrived with bad jet lag and were welcomed in for an early check in. While we waited we had coffee that is available all day at the lobby that also serves as a bar, breakfast spot, and comfortable place to bisit between activities. Our room was small but not too small, had a nice light blocking shade, generous fluffy pillows, roomy bed, good quality towels. On top of all this is the hotel staff: pleasant, happy, and available.

Great location. Great staff and great hotel! Especially forcl the price! I can not fault it.
Room was spacouos, very clean and great amenities, warm and decorative to a hogh standard. The whole hotel definitely felt more expensive than what it was.
2 mins from the central train/bus station. 5 mins walk to dam center
Only slight negative was the Breakfast choice was limted but enough to fill up on. You could hear the traffic and trams outside but you'd get that anywhere in central Amsterdam
What stood out was the anytime FREEZ soft drinks in including bottles or coke and free hot drinks as well as nuts crisps even sweets. Free beer and wine when ever as well!

We had a room very nice but the clients on the up floor were making a lot of noise. We complain about that, and the hotel immediately change our room for another even nicer far from the noise and also offer to us the breakfast complimentary. We really appreciate the actions of the hotel. The ubication of the hotel is perfect. You can walk everywhere from there and have the train Starion like 200 mts from the hotel. We really like it the hotel.

Our stay here was really great! It's less than a minute walk to Amsterdam Centraal Station. When we arrived early to store our luggage before check in, a room was available so we were able to check in earlier. The room even had a view that included Centraal Station. It is close to a lot of great food options.
Although we didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel, the ambience was very cozy. The staff was extremely friendly and the room and bathroom was spacious.
I would definitely stay here again! 10/10

Lovely room with comfy bed & bath, everywhere sparkling clean. Delicious breakfasts with plentiful supply and helpful attentive staff. Good location near railway station & characterful hotel.

The hotel's location allowed us to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Amsterdam. The building is charming and the bed very comfortable. We liked the coffee machine available all day. The staff was friendly. The breakfast had many choices and was very good. I would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

This Horel is a haven amoungst the chaos of a very dirty Amsterdam.... As soon as you came in through the doors (which you had a electronic key for) you felt safe and secure ,only guest could use the hotel and we found this fabulous..10 out of 10 for the Sain Nicolas..Not so for Amsterdam !!

Terrific location - walkable from Centraal Station and from museums and the amazing walkable streets along the canals. Wonderful staff, clean, and a comfortable bed. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel and super friendly staff! Large room with a comfortable bed in a fairly quiet area. Great breakfast at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again!

ホテルは駅に近く、周りはたくさんショッピングやレストランも豊富でダム広場までも問題なく歩いていけます。
アムステルダムのホテルは、ベットが3台あると荷物を広げるスペースが無いホテルが多い印象でしたが、ここは問題なく2個のスーツケースを広げることができました。また、バスタブがついていたのでゆっくり湯船につかって旅の疲れを癒せました。ロビーの方も親切でとっても良かったです。
また、ホテルの隣がラーメン屋さんで、美味しいラーメンも食べられて良かったです。
友人達に薦めたいホテルです。またアムステルダムに行く事があれば必ず泊まりたいです。

The hotel was conveniently located near the Central Station easy to walk to after arriving by train. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely go back if I were to travel back to Amsterdam.

Everyone was most helpful with directions and we loved the location and we were able to easily walk to everything we did in the 2 days we were there. We loved the room with the 3 beds and awesome wallpaper. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is so central for everything. We had a 3 night stay, it’s a 6 minute walk from Centraal Station on is on a tram line. Walking distance to Dam Square and 5he shopping district.

We had a fantastic experience at Hotel Saint-Nicolas. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that a complimentary breakfast was included—what a treat! The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from, and the dining area was pleasant and welcoming.
One of our favorite perks was the complimentary coffee machine available in the common area. It was such a thoughtful touch—having access to any kind of coffee we wanted, whether heading out for the day or coming back to relax, really made our trip even better.
Our room was very comfortable, spotless, and beautifully decorated. Everything felt clean, cozy, and well-maintained.
The location was absolutely perfect—walking distance to just about everything you’d want to see in Amsterdam. It made exploring the city easy and enjoyable.
Last but not least, the hotel staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always ready to offer assistance or information with a smile.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Hotel Saint-Nicolas to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Good hotel very convenient to the train station. Easy to get to the sights. Well equipped room with sufficient space for two suitcases.
Good selection for breakfast. Good coffee and drinks available throughout the day.

This hotel is a short, easy walk from the central train station in Amsterdam, which itself is a short, easy train ride from Schiphol airport. It is therefore very easy to walk or use public transportation from this hotel to reach many tourism destinations in the city.
The room was furnished well but showed some signs of disrepair and poor execution. For example, there were plenty of electrical outlets near the head of the beds for charging customer devices, but too few outlets on the opposite wall to power all of the room's other appliances: floor lamp, TV, coffee maker, kettle, and Android tablet with not terribly useful hotel information (in lieu of a printed guidebook). In the bathroom, the bathtub had a strange half-door that couldn't prevent water from spilling onto the floor and the clothes hook on the inside of the bathroom door was loose and unable to carry any weight.

The property itself was clean. For a one night stay across the train station, it met our needs. Staff were helpful and friendly. The surrounding area however can be noisy and because of near bars/red light district it may not be suitable for families. If looking for convenience and near transportation to the airport , this is a great choice.

The location was perfect for us because it was easily walkable to the central station. Great lobby, helpful staff and better than average breakfast was included. Clean room and very comfortable bed.

夜遅くにホテルに着きましたが駅から近くで分かりやすく，周辺も飲食店が多かったので明るかったです。
部屋もバスタブや冷蔵庫、コーヒーメーカー、湯沸かしポット，ウェルカムウォーターと大体のものは全て備えてあり、
思ったより部屋も広く快適でした。
朝ビュッフェも暖かいベーコン，ウインナー，スクランブルエッグ、ゆで卵、スライスマッシュルームとフルーツ，いろんな種類のパン、どれも美味しかったです。
またアムステルダム訪問時には必ずココに泊まりたいです！

Stayed with my 12 year old daughter for a few nights. Hotel was in a brilliant location as you could walk to everything. Transport options we also just a few minutes walk away. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and always happy to help you find your way around to attractions. Rooms were lovely, clean, comfortable, warm, well decorated and had everything you need. Breakfast was also brilliant and had everything you needed to start the day. Can’t wait to go back would highly recommended

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. The room was small but very comfortable, breakfast was a delicious buffet. The location is perfect for arriving into the central train station, after a long day travelling it meant a lot less hassle.

What a great little gem in the heart of Amsterdam. We were in walking distant of all the major areas. The staff welcomed us with some sparkling wine and it only got better from there. Great breakfast, clean rooms and the City Center of Amsterdam right out your door. Highly recommend.
