Our room was fabulous with views of the ocean and the street activities. The pool was a calming place to be after a day of Stonetown exploration.

Great place to stay if getting the ferry from Dar Es Salaam and good space to explore from for a few days. Lovely room and reasonably priced. Non alcohol hotel which I think makes it a bit cheaper than others, which is great value.

Loved this hotel. Enjoyed a pleasant swim in their gorgeous pool. Delicious breakfast. Very helpful staff. Brilliant location on seafront.

The property is really beautiful and has a lovely restaurant on the second floor with a great view of the ocean. My only complaint is that they didn't have a beer/wine selection, but that was minor.

The Freddie Mercury room had a wonderful view, was spacious, and was absolutely fantastic.

Et svært vakkert og litt gammelt hotell med krinkelkroker og tretrapper. Mange fint utskårne detaljer i mørkt tre.

A perfect location in the Town. Lovely breakfast choice, helpful friendly staff. The pool was shaded but a welcome relief. The room was huge and hreat. The taps were a bit wonky but othetwise a hotel that i could easily recommend

The position and staff. The staff are extremely welcoming and the position is fairly central in Stone Town

We liked the place. Room was great etc. The elevator is funky, requiring patrons to fully close cage door when exiting. If not done properly, others can't use. Otherwise, the place was great.

Nice seafront hotel with orriental style, very close to Old Stone Town with nice terrace and rooftop restaurants. Reccomended!

The hotel is right next to the ferry, the staff is nice. Rooms and hotel in general is clean. Pool is nice. Would stay again

Tout est parfait. Le personnel est extraordinaire du debut à la fin. Tres bonne localisation pour visiter stone town à pied. Et la vue sur la mer et le coucher du soleil incroyable. Sejour inoubliable dans cet hotel qui vous ramène dans lhistoire avec cette architecture coloniale.

The building has an interesting history and is furnished and equipped in authentic detail. The location is easy walking distance from the Dar ferry; across the street is a fishermen's beach, which is also where many boat tours start. Food was good both in the main restaurant (overlooking the beach) and in the small coffee shop at street level.

We had a great stay at Mizingani. Only two nights, but we already want to come back. The staff was very hospitable, polite and service minded. Excellent breakfast. We loved our room. Great location.

Great atmospheric hotel - a real former Zanzibar Sultan's residence. Nice accommodating staff. Very central location next to ferry terminal.

Had a lovely stay at Mizingani Seafront. We had a lovely ocean view. Hotel is in a busy area so some outside noise, but comes with the walkability aspect. Service was good. Would recommend.

Cute is the word!! Clean and very well located in Stone Town ! Staff very friendly. It will make you want to take a lots of pictures.

A charming old-fashioned hotel, that reminds you of the history of Zanzibar and Stonetown, its capital in particular.
Lovely antiques, and gorgeous views of the waterfront and its activities from the breakfast room as well as from some of the rooms at the front. (We had one). Spectacular sunsets. Only fault of the hotel, is that the safety deposit box in the room didn't work. Also, it is a dry hotel, no alcohol, but there are charming bars everywhere, and there's Freddy's pub across the road. We will return for another stay.

Gorgeous Islamic-inspired design at a seaside hotel steps away from the ferry terminal. If you arrive by ferry there is no better location for convenience and value.
Beautiful rooms, interior courtyard with pool and balconies over looking it. A hilarious number of staircases. Breakfast buffet was diverse and very tasty. Staff exceptionally friendly, and over the top accommodating! Excellent value for money. I would love to stay again.

Nous sommes restés 1 nuit en arrivant, l’établissement était super, propre, accueillant et les équipes très sympathiques nous avons pu attendre le check in autour de la piscine. Elles nous ont également aidés pour l’organisation des taxis et d’une excursion ! C’était super

The hotel is just five minutes walk from the ferry and about 20 minutes from the Airport, location is perfect in front of the hotel
Is promenade walk to the forodhani park, in the night it’s lively with plenty of local food stalls.
Staff are amazing especially Zubeda and Haji they were brilliant and make my stay very enjoyable with their knowledge of the city.behind the hotel is stone town where you can walk through narrows roads ,overall I enjoy my stay at Mizingani and I will definitely stay there again. Another thing is the breakfast is amazing plenty of food and a lot of varieties includes fresh fruits and juice.

We enjoyed our stay there. Nice location, close to all the restaurants and shopping. Five minute walk from Stone Town.

Idéalement situé chambre et terrasse vue mer Magnifique. Accès à la vieille ville à pied. 3 jours sur place suffisant pour tout voir et aller aussi à l’île de la prison en face.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Mizingani.Très belle piscine, chambre propre ,spacieuse et lit confortable, très bon accueil. Le petit déjeuner est à volonté et copieux et le personnel à disposition. Je recommande vivement cet établissement.

Mizingani is a very good choice in the mid price range in Stonetown. Old historical beautiful building on the seafront (no direct access, you need to cross a road).
Clean, superb service, quiet and spot in the middle of Stonetown. No alcohol, but that’s easy to find else where if that’s an issue.

Deuxième fois que je séjourne à cet hôtel . Très bien situé. Accueil très sympathique. Chambre très confortable dans cadre authentique. Terrasse donnant sur la mer avec les animations du port . Piscine agréable. Je recommande
