wonderful staff in hotel and restaurant; very nice breakfast buffet; large room with nice balcony; great location right on the beach. had a wonderful 3 night visit and would stay again if i return to maafushi.

I communicated in my reservation my view preference and upon arrival , you exceeded my expectations! I was comfortably snd extremely pleased with the accommodations. customer service, location, my food and the kindness of your staff. Allon was especially kind in helping make my husband's birthday very special by y being attentive and taking a few photos of our dining. Thank you to the entire waitstaff and my french toadt and omelet makers! Immefiate eye contact and a big smile always. Will not stay anywhere else when I return.

View from the balcony was superb. Staff were very friendly. Buffet breakfast was good. Restaurant food was also good. Pool was fantastic.

We zijn eerder op het eiland Maafushi geweest maar voor het eerst in Kaani beach hotel. Deze accommodatie is een prima plek op Maafushi en lekker aan het strand. Een klein min puntje is dat de bedjes tegen betaling zijn. Dit komt omdat dat van een andere uitbater is. Maar tegen een tarief van een drankje zijn de bedjes en parasol gratis dus een prima deal. Aan het zwembad boven op het dak zijn de bedjes wel gewoon gratis.

What a wonderful stay we had. The hotel is right on the bikini beach so you step out of the hotel and BAM beach time. The hotel is clean and fresh and everyone has their role to play. Great snorkeling experience and felt safe and well looked after.
Meal options are fab and the buffet dinner is a treat.
We stayed in the deluxe room with balcony, room 1704 and it was amazing to see the sun set, beach from our bed.
We met Anisur whilst dinning and he was always so friendly with us. Giving us tips off lovely food and drinks to try at that time. He was attentive with our dishes and drinks and always was very respectful and happy and smiling. A true asset as out a lot of other staff we met but couldn't remember there names.
Absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming again.

Magic, Roxanne, Try, Maga, Linda and Shafiq were all amazing. All the staff were super friendly and helpful The individuals named above went above and beyond to make our stay and our marriage ceremony amazing. My wife and I couldn't be happier, and we will certainly be coming back. Thanks again to our new friends at the Kaani Palm Beach.

Incredible peaceful setting. The staff always ready to help in any way, another towel? Don't need service? ok, but here is your complementary water for today. Just need towels, no problem.

Kaani Palm beach was excellent hotel. I enjoyed my 3 days with very good breakfast. My room was beach facing with balcony. Clean and resonabily maintained service items. One of the plugs was not work. I repoted and they sent a electrician straightway.
A small but decent infinitely pool was very good with excellent views.
Face to face communication was very good with the staff. But over the telephone, it was a bit weak.
The weakest link is the advise on transfer from the airport to Maafushi is less frequent outside of 7 am to 6 pm, also the costly.
Hope some clear information transfers and well published timetables would have been very useful.

Staff is amazing, helpful and very attentive: it was wonderful experience staying there. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety and we went on 4 excursions with Kaani team and everything was fantastic! Well organized, on time, and again, wonderful staff! Certainly recommend.

I have just returned to Canada after my stay at Palm beach hotel.
I had a great vacation thanks to the efforts of the Palm beach staff and especially Magic (ask for him).
The room was clean and the food was good.
I tried almost all the excusrions they had and I was very happy that I gave it a try as I enjoyed every single one ( Hasan will take amazing pictures of you ).
I strongly recommand this hotel.

I really the hotel, it is in front of the best beach on the island (bikini beach), food is okay and Tours are fun. The hotel is very small but well maintained. Rooms are medium size and very clean and comfortable beds. Drinking bottle Waters given everyday. Staff is very nice, helped to get my luggage from the airport the next day. Area is nice, whole are is safe to walk at night. The island is very small and can see it all in 20 mins. Kaani hotels are a chain with few hotel in the island, next to each other. I have stayed in another one before but this one is defiantly worth paying the extra money. I really recommend this hotel and I would stay here again if I come back. I would probably do tours and meals outside just because are cheaper but the hotel has the convenience of having it right there without leavings the property.

Chegamos no aeroporto de Male bem cedo e tivemos que esperar pela lancha rápida. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos staffs do Hotel, principalmente Michael Jackson e Mohamed (que foi super atencioso durante os passeios!).Infelizmente não foi possível um early check in mas aguardamos na recepção que é bem confortavel.Ficamos no quarto com vista para o mar e a higiene foi impecavel. Esqueci o nome do querido que arrumou nosso quarto todos os dias (quarto 2601). Quarto espaçoso e com uma vista deslumbrante para o mar. Sem palmeiras na frente. Todos da equipe são muito simpáticos e agradaveis! Um parabens duplo para as meninas do restaurante e da recepção que nos acolheram tão bem! Os passeios realizados pela equipe do Kaani são imbativeis! Façam todos. Uma dica: levem sapatilhas para entrar no mar pois a praia do hotel possui muitas pedras na hora da entrada. O único problema que notei não somente no hotel mas em toda ilha foi a questão de alimentos mais frescos. O café da manhã do hotel é bom mas repetitivo. A comida é mais com características indianas então se acostumem com masala e curry! Mas tudo muito bem preparado! Dica de comida fora do hotel: Mamma Mia, Moonlight (ótimo para o jantar). Os serviços sao pontuais. Cheguem cedo na praia do hotel pois as espreguiçadeiras acabam rapido. Obrigada a toda equipe Kanni Palm Beach!

City view is “building view”. No city, just walls and bricks.
It’s good hotel for those who are budget conscious.
IT’S A DRY RESORT. No alcohol beverages sold at the hotel or surrounding restaurants.
Loved the cleanliness. It’s clean.

All roads surrounding the hotel are made of dirt so, no cute shoes. The beach is extremely rocky so wear water shoes to protect your feet.

A equipe do hotel , recepção , restaurante , praia , transporte é muito atenciosa . Ficamos em dois quartos no primeiro andar e isso foi bom pois não precisamos usar o elevador em todos os momentos. Em uma noite tivemos a visita de uma barata em um dos apartamentos, mas entendo se tratar de uma situação pontual.

Me gustó mucho la localización, poder cenar en la terraza con los pies en la arena, y una preciosa playa encima es maravilloso. La comida del buffet me pareció correcta, pero me faltaba algún plato más internacional ya que está muy enfocada al turismo local. El desayuno no tanto, lo salvé con el puesto de tortillas que se agradece. Falta fruta.y yogures.
La habitación es muy espaciosa y muy limpia.
Un detalle que no me gustó nada del hotel, es que antes de llegar a la isla vía email pregunté como podría hacer el transfer de vuelta ya que volaba muy temprano y me preocupaba, y sólo me informaron de la posibilidad de coger ferry "privado" que costaba 180$ para 3 pax. Esperé a llegar a la isla y una vez allí pregunté en una agencia y existe un speedy boat a las 6.30am que costaba unos 16€por persona.
Quitando esto, si volvería a este hotel. El personal en general es muy atento

No fitnes or anything for sport in the hotel! Plan rather watersport activities.

“Pleasant Stay.”
Positive Points:
1. Amazing view from the balcony (top floor).
2. Wonderful location (travel-friendly crowd).
3. Staffs of the restaurant were well-trained.
Negative Points:
1. The difference of the room rate from one website to another (or direct rate from the property) is huge.
2. Staffs of the reception should be professional.

We stayed here for 9 nights, celebrating our 20th anniversary!
PROS: staff - some staff members (Karim in the restaurant) go above and beyond, excursions were fantastic - we done snorkeling with sharks and the turtles, both were brilliant, the staff running these excursions are amazing and do absolutely everything in their power to make sure you have the best experience, a la carte dining is exceptional, pool, spa etc were all great, I'd recommend having a massage while you're here.
CONS: our bedding was not changed once, housekeeping was quite basic, our room was tiny (city view 2905) as was the balcony-not the room shown on expedia, the minute you arrive you're bombarded with excursion options - which were massively oversubscribed, the shower pressure in our room was a poor, there was a terrible smell, we asked them to look at this and they sent someone up who turned it on and said its ok and left.
Whilst out one night a storm hit, on return to our room there was puddles of water on the ledge above the bed, mattress, bedding was soaked, maintenence came up climbed outside and pointed out where water was coming in, said they'd sort it, but no mention of wet bed, my husband said no this was the last straw we want moved, the boy that came to take us to the new room was really rude basically indicating we'd done it! New room was huge, shower pressure perfect, huge balcony and the same as on expedia!
We did have a great time, its a lovely hotel and we'd come back.

Things that I liked: staff responsiveness, room size, comfy bed and pillows, internet speed and connectivity.
Things that I didn't like: the buffet didn't have enough varieties, the bath towels were not fresh and overly recycled. These could be better.

Le séjour s'est bien passé, hôtel récent et donc en bel état. Chambre spacieuse, Personnel vraiment agréable, et nourriture dans l'ensemble correcte. Deux bémols toutefois, concernant la petite taille de la bikini beach ou l'on se retrouve des 11h les uns sur les autres... et le petit déjeuner ou on ne trouve ni fruits, ni yaourts ...

The hotel is probably one of the best options you can find in Maafushi, however, the standard is fairly low. The room was quite clean and spacious, and the balcony view on the sea is really pleasant. The negative points are a warn out lobby and a less than premium check in experience. You are only given a towel and face towel per person (forget about slippers). The restaurant food is acceptable but
Overall the hotel has an overcrowded feeling. The staff is generally kind but does not give the impression of being properly trained.

- Nous avons choisi la chambre avec la fenêtre non inclue ( regret instantané dès que nous avons mis les pieds dedans car l’odeur était difficile à supporter mais la climatisation a rendu la chose un peu plus facile). Nous recommandons donc de prendre la chambre avec balcon ( un peu plus cher mais ça vaut le coup).
- Murs absolument pas insonores ( on entendait chaque pas dans le couloir ( matin et soir)
- La piscine est splendide!
- Sur un séjour de 4 nuits pendant la semaine, aucun film n’a été projeté sur la plage car un peu de vent ( dommage car il était largement supportable)
- Service de restauration très agréable.

Pedi quarto no alto, me colocaram no primeiro andar, sem privacidade nenhuma, muito barulho o ar condicionado pessimo, não gelava, solicitei varias vezes mudança de quarto e sem sucesso. O check-in é horrível, vc chega cansado e tem q esperar eles te oferecerem todos os passeios, p daí começarem a fazer check-in.

海外約30回、モルディブ8回目、マーフシ初めての感想です。
【部屋・設備】
建物は新しいのですが設備は非力。熱いシャワーは出たことはありませんでした。初めの20秒はお湯ですが、すぐ水に。滞在中ずっと寒い思いをしていました。
部屋内は広めできれい。ただ海に面した部屋を予約したのですが1階（日本で言う2階）、目の前は観光客用ビーチでヤシの木に遮られ、夜までホテル前の地元民の声が響くうるさい部屋でした。また床は滑りやすくとても危険。
最上階のインフィニティープールはGood。ベストポジションを長時間自撮りで独り占めする客もいてちょっと閉口。最大十数人でいっぱいの小ささなので仕方無しか。朝イチが空いていて写真を撮るなら順光できれい。
【食事】
二食付きプランで朝夕ともビュッフェ形式。味はまあまあといったところ。その場で作ってくれるオムレツは美味。モルディブではどこも同じですが、魚・チキンはパサパサ。夕食がプランに含まれていない場合は20ドル。隣のアリーナホテルのビュッフェは18ドルで品数も多くサラダ・デザートも充実。ライブキッチンも有り。ただアリーナのレストランはビーチ上のセミオープンエア。いつも席は満員で席間もなくゆっくり食事する雰囲気ではありません。マナーを守らない中国人団体客が多く一回行っただけでやめました。その点カーニパームのレストランはゆったりしたレイアウトで清潔、落ち着いていました。レストラン前にはオンザビーチのオープンエアエリアテーブルもあり。ウエイターも落ち着いた感じで親切で好感が持てました。食事内容を取るか雰囲気を取るかお好みで。
【アクティビティー】
チェックイン前にオプショナルツアーを熱心に勧誘されます。その後滞在中も頻繁に声を掛けられます。
サメと泳いだり沈船ポイントで泳いだりするツアーに参加してみましたが最悪でした。カーニグループホテル客全員が一緒になるので、ボートは激混み。座席では隣の人と体が密着するぐらいに詰め込まれました。スピードボートですが長距離移動なので、実際のアクティビティーの時間よりボート移動の時間のほうが長いです。
また、ヨーロピアンのゲストが多いのですが泳ぎが下手で海で遊ぶのに慣れておらず、また殆どが肥満体型なのでボートからのはしごを使ってのエントリーやエグジットに時間がかかり、ヨーロピアンゲスト以外は長時間待たされます。少しでも風があると船は揺れて船酔いする人が出るので海の状況が良くないときは参加を見送ったほうが賢明かと。
リゾート島のアクティビティーに比べるとたしかに安いですが内容もそれなりです。天気に恵まれ参加ゲストが少なければいいかも知れません。
参加中の写真（水中）をGoProで無料で撮ってくれるサービスはGoodです。サンドバンクに上陸して簡単なランチがありますが、その際、波打ち際を歩いたりするシーンをグループやペア単位でドローン撮影してくれるサービスも15＄であり。
【スタッフ】
フロントに何でも相談に乗ってくれるスタッフがいますが日本語は通じません。
【全体の印象】
マーフシ島が観光客を受け入れ始めてまだ十数年。とりあえず客室をハイスピードで増やそうとしています。それに設備の面で設計やキャパが追いついていないようです。蛇口や換気扇設備不具合は滞在中自力で直しました。
サービスは洗練されてなく「リピーターを育てよう」ではなく「とにかく客数を抱え込んでさばいたもの勝ち」を肌で感じます。
他のリゾート島を知らず、安くモルディブに行きたいなら選択肢のひとつではあります。

It was probably the best hotel for the amount of money we paid. Its definitely not luxurious or anything. There is no AC except in the hotel room. The food buffet is terrible, wet bread, rice and chicken every day. The breakfast doesn't even have real bread, ham and cheese or anything like that. Its better to just book the hotel and eat in the restaurants right next to it. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

Excellent location with options for sports activities and restaurants very close to the hotel
The hotel has its private beach, well maintained & great view from the hotel
Customer service needs a complete revisit. Due to the dominant position of Kaani Palm hotel, staff only focused on add-on sales but not focused on customer service.
Poor communication skills lead to staff becoming too argumentative and over-explaining why requests or services can not be provided rather than helping customers.
Issues faced:
- When we booked almost 3 month+ early, we requested all 3 rooms to be next to each other. No acknowledgment at the time of check-in and the staff explained too long why the request is a request and should not have expected it to be honored rather than look for it.
- Poor check-in experience since it took almost half an hour for the front desk to check in as they fumbled over each other to check in.
- The TV did not work for 3 days (in our 3 rooms booked) and none of the staff solved it after continuous complaints each day. (Probably this is because each connection cost money and staff was not interested to hence solve it)
- Specific office staff (Kadir) assigned for our 3 rooms- once he got the tip after dropping our first day. Only checked once for booking excursions but any issue was reported he just ignored
We used iCom company (close to resort) for transportation and water excursions (much cheaper & excellent)

I didn't like anything about this property they should be fined for false advertising about their facilities. The biggest rip off and dump.
