Location was excellent, not too far away from both ferry's that can connect you to City Center.
Nothing that we did not like, was perfect for a family of four.

I truly enjoyed the easy check in and being given a pin code for the door instead of keeping track of a key. Also enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. Location was about 30 to 40 min walk from city center or 10 min bus ride to ferry. Other than location everything was wonderful. I enjoyed not being complety in the city center alot less noise.

Initial access to property was difficult. Instructions were not timely and when received did not include how to access the external door to reach the safe where the physical key was located, so had to use international plan to call the property contact. Location of property was good. Bus to free ferry to and from Amsterdam Centraal ran every 30 mins. The ferry was every 4 mins and took very little time to cross. Apartment had a separate toilet without sink which was a little strange (sink was in another bathroom with the shower) so although it technically had two bathrooms there were some usability challenges. Signage on door in our apartment needed updating (wifi access info was invalid). One plus was the washer/dryer combo machine but we had some issues with the drying feature and there was no manual to troubleshoot whether it was user or machine error. Place was very clean and beds were comfy. TV had good choices including Netflix. Kitchen facilities a definite plus. We were able to make our own breakfast. Overall, apartment itself was very comfortable and family rates it very highly despite the issues noted. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Nice property. Trying to find the exact local was a little challenging but not a big deal. I definitely recommend this property if you are traveling with kids

The apartment is fully equipped with the things we needed. It’s a great place to stay if you’re here for a long time. The closest grocery store would be the one close to the ferry which is a 20 minute walk from here.

We loved our stay at YAYS, the apartment was beautiful and very clean. Four of us stayed and it fitted us all well. Great amenities and tea/coffee provided. The beautiful balcony was a bonus! I slept on the sofa bed and it was very comfortable. Thank you so much for our stay 😊

A great 2 bedroom apartment, well-equipped with everything you need for a long weekend trip.
Perfect place to stay for 2 couples or a family travelling. Comfy beds, super clean and great facilities: huge shower and kitchen with utensils, fridge and cooking appliances. Check in was super smooth. The place is "concierge-less" and you receive your keys via email on the day you checkin, which are shareable with your party.
The location is a little bit out of the centre. It's north of the river across from Central Station but its only a 15-20 minute direct walk to the F3 ferry which is free and comes every 5 minutes or so. It goes from directly outside the Central Station. We had no problems walking to and from there everyday and then you're straight into the heart of Amsterdam.
It is in a safe and quiet residential/industrial area and there's not a lot immediately around the hotel. However, there is a cafe directly across and a supermarket 15 minutes walk away.

Nice place. Good location. Need a bike or taxi to go to central Amsterdam. Walking is about 35 mins. Nicely managed and well kept. It was hard to fill the documents as it’s all online. Rest it was a comfortable apartment for sure.

I was visiting with my family for work and highly recommend By Yays for your upcoming travel. If you you are staying or working in Amsterdam Nord this is the place for you. Quite neighborhood with transportation within 5 min walk.

Excellent property to stay at with friends. Only issue I would say is perhaps have a check in desk/reception closer to the property. Apart from that our overall experience was perfect!

Excellent stay. Group of 4 friends , more then enough space . Clean and tidy . Balcony views are beautiful. Staff at reception very helpful and lovely. Free regular Ferry close by which takes two mins to get to Amsterdam central. Only drawback is there’s no elevator service so if you have luggage maybe a struggle

I was worried after seeing some of the other reviews after booking however was relieved when we arrived at the apartment. It was perfect.
Yes it is out of the way and a bit of a walk to the ferry but honestly it wasn't really an issue.
Comfy beds, decent amount of space, no noise, clean. The only problem was the lack of air conditioning.
We were happy with our stay and would stay here again.

The apartments were clean, comfortable and well equipped. The beds and pillows were like clouds ;) The local area is up and coming, nice walk to the free ferry to central station and some really cool bars (pllek and noorderligcht) near by. Cool street art and the monthly flea market is a must if you like vintage/alternative stuff. Key pick up st the airport was easy and friendly. We had a brilliant stay for ky hen do, would definately go back!

L'appartement se trouve à 10min à peine du centre ville en taxi. Nous avions booké 2 appartement entre amis, nous étions au dernier étage, sur le même palier. Les appartements sont très confortables et propre. Je recommande vivement !

Vi skulle hente nøglen et andet sted som hvor lejligheden ligger. Lidt upraktisk fordi gaderne i Amsterdam er meget smalle. Men servicen var i top da vi kom, og havde trods trafikken og god oplevelse. Men måske nemmere hvis man kunne vælge et sted tættere på. Men lejligheden var super lækker, så ingen klager herfra

Location was ok but there was a bit of a walk to get to the ferry to take you in town. We didn’t have face wash rags in our unit but we made do. There were also a couple flying bugs (not sure what they were). The shower did have a bit of mold at the bottom, so maybe it needed a deeper cleaning. Over all if was pretty good.

Nous avons apprécié l’endroit. Le bateau navette vers la gare centrale et le centre d Amsterdam est à 15 minutes à pied. La communication avec le staff se fait par message ou appel téléphonique. Le staff a été très réactif à nos questions

Сразу смотрите где забирать ключи.Пешком от центра 30 минут,на велике 10 .В принципе нормально,но есть мелочи,как писали выше,слабый напор воды в душе и обеденный стол слегка убит.

Ik vond de accommodatie heel erg modern en mooi. Minpunt vond ik de schoonmaak. De vloer was erg plakkerig overal en er lagen haren op het beddengoed van de kamers. Ik had liever slippers willen dragen! De communicatie met het hotel was heel goed en snel, dus dat was heel fijn.

This was a nice apartment a short ferry ride from Amsterdam central. Only issues were collecting the keys as we had to take our luggage to the other side of Amsterdam and then back again as collection from the airport was unavailable. The apartment was hard to get to due to a market on the weekend which couldn’t be helped. Also the ferry was sometimes a 30 minute wait and another 15-20 minute walk after but overall a lovely apartment. Finally, no additional toilet paper was available.

The place was nice and very clean. It was a bit far from everything but it was easy to catch the bus to the city centre. It’s best if you have your own car.

We stayed at NDSM for 2 nights in a 2 bedrooms apartment. They given us a ground level apartment.
It's a nice modern hotel but it's very cramped. The 2 rooms are small (just enough for beds) so we have to put all our luggages out in the living room which is tiny in itself.
The bathroom is designed for wheelchair so it's huge. What it means for us is a wet bathroom.
Now location... it a little distance from Amsterdam central. When we checked in we were told to catch a free ferry from Amsterdam central. Ferry ride will take about 5 mins. We then had to catch a bus for another 10 mins and walked for another 10 mins.
What we found out later, bus ride is actually a better option. A bus from a Amsterdam Central will take about 10-15 mins then you just need to walk about 5 mins. It's definitely a better option in our opinion especially dragging your luggage in and out of transport system can be a pain plus figuring out which direction to take.
There is no supermarket nearby that we can see so we buy our groceries from Amsterdam Central.
Now about checking in, we checked in at the Amsterdam airport. To my knowledge you can only do it from somewhere in the city centre but that's means a tram from Amsterdam Central. Also they are pretty strict with their check in time. We were given options to come back at 2pm (we did all the paper work around 12.30pm) or 45 euro and you can get the key then. We opted to wait till 2pm.

Das Haus ist in Amsterdam North,also nicht direkt im Zentrum. Zuerst dachten wir der Weg zur Centraal Station ist weit, doch eine Bushaltestelle liegt in direkter Nähe, sodass man von da aus schnell zur Fähre kommt und so schon mitten im Geschehen ist.

Ho soggiornato insieme alla mia famiglia in questo bellissimo appartamento stile moderno situato nella zona Noord di Amsterdam. Locale molto pulito, accogliente e dotato di tutti i confort necessari per i soggiorni anche più lunghi di una settimana. Unica nota negativa è la posizione, lontana dal centro e con l'obbligo di prendere il traghetto ogni volta che vuoi andare in centro, se non disponi di una macchina. Anche il luogo dove bisogna andare a fare il check-in potrebbe essere più comodo (esattamente dalla parte opposta dell'appartamento). Tutto il resto nulla da dire, perfetto!

The apartment was decent and modern, clean and comfortable beds, but be prepared that it’s in the middle of a lot of new developments and it’s pretty far from the nearest shop or most public transport. I think there is a bus that runs outside the property but the metro is too far for most people. Uber was the only real option for us. I wouldn’t stay here again for that reason.

Overall was a decent place to stay. The lack of air in the apartment is a major issue. The three windows in the apartment open up less than an inch. Gets extremely stuffy and hot.
Fan system didn't work.

Property was further from the city then was explained, long walk from the ferry. Air conditioning could not be controlled within the apartment. I tried contacting via Whats App but was not successful. Balcony door in living room served as fresh air. No window could be opened in bedroom.
Apartment was clean. Dishwasher and washer were a great help. Would have given a better review if we could control air conditioning

Air ventilation system was not working at all in the whole apartment
Unable to open windows (broken handle in bedroom and blocked window in bathroom)
Coffee machine broken
Dryer was not working, and no clothes horse available (very few hangers)
Drain shower stinks (like rotten eggs)
Black fungi all over the bathroom floor
No walls in shower (whole bathroom is wet after shower)
People can look into the apartment (visual protection only partial next to the door)
Dirty cabins, dirty hood, dirty curtains, dirty walls
No broom or vacuum cleaner available (only a broken hand brush)
Several lamps broken

I could not check in online - tried to call - no andwer. Sent an e-mail. Reply was that i should go to a hotel in the other end of Amsterdam - 35 Euro one way by Uber, to check in.
We tried 5 people including our IT manager to check in via the link - but not possible at all. Result - paid but cpuld not enter the place…….

L appartamento è molto bello pulitissimo e dotato di ogni comfort anche se lontano dal centro.....pero ....non lo raccomanderei a nessuno per un altro motivo nonostante ci sia un balcone bellissimi non si può uscire le finestre sono sigillate e mi sono sentita in trappola anche perche l unica via di fuga in caso di incendi sono le scale ...completamente tappezzate e con moquette probabilmente inifughe ma la certezza io non ce l ho comunque non capisco il motivo di questa cosa e non mi sono sentita al sicuro !!!!!
