The owner is kind & hard-working. He drove me to the nearby supermarket & would not accept payment. He also arranged my return transport to Incheon airport.
My room was large and comfortable - the balcony having a fabulous view of the rice paddies & daily sunset. It is an easy 10min walk to the beach along quiet pathways - very pleasant before sunset each day. (The view is breathtaking from the beach) There is a small convenience store & café at the beach if you need light snacks & drinks. There are floats for rent at the beach if you have small children. The water appears shallow and locals bring their children & also go for walks. Behind the accom' you can take a gentle walk towards the mountains & view picturesque homes along the way.
There is a lovely garden at the back of the pension, with swings, picnic table, seating & mobile bbq's. There is also a sheltered porch to relax and have your meals, or spend some time with the owner's adorable little lapdog.
The room comes with a large fridge/ freezer, kettle, rice cooker, and 2 electric hotplates with pots & pans etc for basic cooking, as well as other cutlery & crockery. There is a powerful aircon unit too that sufficiently cools the entire apartment. The shower is hot & very powerful which is great. The toilet does not flush paper (don't try or you might flood the bathroom) - there is a small bin provided right beside - use it.
Altogether a comfortable Korean-style home in an area with great natural beauty.
