Good hotel with a nice patio area. Friendly lady at the desk. Local shops and easy transport. Nice cycle from hotel to Amsterdam Central.

Staff was welcoming, explained rules clearly and provided information when we needed it! Parking on site was great. Location is nice next to a lot of restaurants and a short drive to Amsterdam city center!

No pillow case, bugs all over the bathroom, chairs and closet falling apart, I paid for 4 nights but I only stayed for 1 night, I’ll stay away from this place

The Zwanenburgh Inn is a very nice hotel to stay in when you're visiting Amsterdam. It's only a 20 minute walk from the local train station to the inn. The walk along the waterway is quite peaceful & you can spot some friendly geese along the way. The hotel is very clean & quiet, the rooms have t.v. & refrigerators as well as wifi. The staff is friendly & helpful, there's also a restaurant on site. The hotel is in a residential neighbourhood so the surroundings are quite nice & family oriented. They have a policy at the Zwanenburgh that room cleaning occurs once a week. This is due to the fact that there's usually one person working per shift. However if you need extra cleaning you can ask and for a fee the room will be given an extra clean. Some people will find this unacceptable but it's not really a big deal at all. I tend to keep my rooms clean so it's not a bother to me and I like my privacy so it works out just fine. There is an Aldi just 5 minutes from the inn and an Albert Heijn store around the corner from Aldi about 15 minutes from the Zwanenburgh. If you like coming to Amsterdam as much as I do you should give the Zwanenburgh a try. From the local train station to Centraal Station in Amsterdam it's only about a 25 minute journey. You also avoid herds of tourists when staying in Zwanenburgh. The price for 7 nights was only 535$ and you really can't find a better offer for that price.

Lille hotelværelse med meget lidt gulvplads, fint nok for en overnatning men ikke for meget mere end det. Der blev røget lige uden for terrassedøren og var utroligt lydt.

A great place to stay, only 20 minutes by train to get to Amsterdam centre. Comfortable room and clean. Best price for the summer!

Hotel bom de uma forma geral, porém muito mais muito longe do centro de Amsterdam, pra quem tem esse interesse em ir sempre ao centro não compensa. Tem um ônibus que passa próximo ao hotel tem que caminhar uns 20 min pra chegar no ponto e acertar o horário do ônibus, se não vai ficar esperando muito tempo.

It’s easy to access the train station. You have to pay for air con as extra when you’re there. Which is fine we just didn’t know

Not like overdue maintenance,
Not very clean hairs in shower, floor not or badly vacuüm cleaned, stuf under bed from other people, no food in the morning, not even a cup of coffee was possible.
Also personeel was complaining about Expedia which was not fair and even not true! In nodded and end the conversation.

Hotelli on vähän kulahtanut paikoin, mutta hinta oli sopiva ja sijainti on loistava jos ei halua maksaa Amsterdamin keskustan hotelleista. Ja autolla/moottoripyörällä matkustaville ilmainen pysäköinti sisäpihalla. Täältä pääsee junalla keskustaan ihan 10 minuutissa + ehkä 15 minuuttia reipasta kävelyä asemalle.

Nice quiet location.. Lidl supermarket and a variety of outlets nearby..
About a twenty minutes walk away from the train station to get into Amsterdam centre..

Check in was simple and pleasant enough fyi..no staff after 9pm.. so please make sure you advise before arrival if you need to check in later..
Given a key for our room door and proceeded up the stairs to our room...no lift here..
The room was clean and adequate for our two night stay..
But be aware the property and it's rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website..
It's rather tired and in need of a little TLC..
But it's clean and the bed was very comfortable with a great shower.. so not complaining for me and the price of our stay I would be quite happy to return..

10 minutt med tog til Amsterdam Centraal. Litt lang spasertur til togstasjon. Ikke frokost på hotell, rolig beliggenhet med bakerbutikk rett over gaten og dagligvarer rett i nærheten. Rimelig hotell, heilt greit til prisen.

No Air conditioning in the room

After reading past reviews I was very nervous about this hotel I had booked. On arrival check in was super fast and easy. Our room was on the third floor (no elevators) but not a problem.
Our room was clean, clean bathroom with full shower/toilet/sink. Had soap and shampoo/conditioner. The AC was an extra cost but we actually didn’t need it with having the window open at night. With the reviews I read - not sure if we just got a cleaner room or a room that just didn’t have broken appliances but we had a pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week.
Short 20 minutes walk to the train station and just two stops away from Amsterdam Central. Very quick and cheap way to get downtown with trains coming every 10 minutes.
Would stay here again.

It is far from central amsterdam and air port but people who works in a hotel were very very nice. They offer free shuttle bus and area is very safty and cozy. No elevator but they helped carry our luggages.Very old style but clean. Only one bad thing was bathtub. They need to replace it.

Room clean, fridge, tv, kettle by request. Sheets and towels clean. Hot water in bathroom. Heater works. Supermarkets and restaurants close.
NO ELEVATOR. If you need the room to be cleaned you have to pay 15e. It's a one night hotel.

Although the stuff were very helpful the hotel had no facilities not even a glass our cup in the room. There was not even a machine to get drinks or coffee.
The air cons did not work and there was a sign not to use them.
It is sad as this hotel must have been excellent 30 years ago as it has all the makings of a really nice place in the past.
The rooms to sleep in for a night would be OK, for longer stays a bit doubtful, as there is no lift and if you have heavy bags, it is not great if you are on the top floor.
As far as the area goes the shops were close, with a bakery just across the road but it didn't have coffee.
There is a nice bakery just up the road we went to every morning that was small but really nice. Lido supermarket was 200metres up the road that was handy.

Wir hatten das Hotel Zwanenburg für 2 Übernachtungen für den Besuch von Amsterdam gebucht. Das Zimmer war ok (mit Kühlschrank und Fernseher). Es gibt einen kostenfreien Parkplatz direkt am Hotel.
Man läuft ca. 20 Minuten bis zum Bahnhof Zwanenburg und ist in 10 Minuten am Amsterdamer Zentralbahnhof.
Die Züge fahren im Viertelstunden-Takt und sind immer pünktlich. Einen Föhn sollte man dabei haben - unser im Badezimmer funktionierte leider nicht.

Det ligger i et relativt rolig boligstrøk, med kort avstand til matbutikker og noen enkle restauranter. Litt langt å gå fra og til toget eller buss, om man skal inn til sentrum. Om man vil oppleve hvordan det er å bo i utkanten av Amsterdam, kan dette absolutt anbefales. For min del burde jeg nok valgt å bo nærmere sentrum, siden man er helt avhengig av tog eller buss for å komme til sentrum. Den tiden man taper på pendling kan fort lønne seg å betale litt mer for i sentrum - men da kan støy bli et annet problem...

I was surprised that here was no elevator to reach my second floor room.

The room is basic with a little fridge and TV. Beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, the little safe is installed below a tabletop on the floor in the corner, so it's not easily accessible. The bathroom is small but clean (except for the hairdryer which could do with a wipe down). The door keys were replaced with electronic cards during my stay and the changeover went smoothly. Rooms are cleaned every 5 days (you need to book those cleaning services - no charge) during long stays. Air Conditioning is available at 15 Euro. There is no escalator so if you have problems with stairs make sure to book a downstairs unit. Unless you have your own car (parking available) it is important to note that the nearest bus stop is 1,3 km walking distance. Or take an Uber. M
