I never leave reviews but I think it's necessary. My daughter and I were traveling alone and also don't speak spanish unfortunately. There were times where we got ourselves into a pickle and the property owners went so above and beyond to help, it was incredibly meaningful. Ester and Skip were both so kind and generous, it makes this property stand out from any other place we went on our vacation. The Hacienda itself is 5 minutes from Xcaret, so you are so close to the action, but the location of the space is tucked away in a little rainforest. It is so beautiful and calming, I just felt very lucky to have found it. I can't recommend the hotel....almost an B&B enough. There is also a beautiful little bakery 2 steps down from the Hacienda with incredible Sourdough breads and cinnamon rolls. It's just a very special place.
