Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast included a plus and very good food. Location was reasonable easy to access the center of the city and the tram transportation

I chose to stay at the BLOOM Boutique Hotel & Lounge Basel for two very practical reasons: price and location. And credit where it’s due—the price was right. The sleeping arrangements, however, were a bit of a plot twist. I booked a room for three: the double bed was great, but the single bunk perched above it felt… creatively ambitious.
What really made the stay shine was the staff. They were fantastic,friendly, helpful, and gave such a clear explanation of the tram system that we felt like Basel locals in minutes. We arrived early, and while the room was still being cleaned, they happily stored our luggage. When we returned, our bags had magically appeared in the room, along with some genuinely warm hospitality.

Very convenient, clean and modern. The room was a little small but still acceptable. The only I would add is a shelf or two in the bathroom. Not much space to put your things.
Overall a very nice place with wonderful people!

Great hotel outside of the main shopping areas, the Basel card that bloom provides gives you free transit to anywhere in the city making this a great location that is only 5-10 minutes away from the inner city.

My only complaint is that the rooms we had included a queen bed and a single bed bunk bed over. The frame of the bunk bed is black metal. In dim light or lights out, both of us, as well as our travel companions in a similar room, banged our heads on the bunk bed. Maybe glow in the dark tape/ paint could be used. Or, I guess we could have been more careful. Lol

I had a lovely stay at Bloom hotel in Basel.
Great room, great breakfast, very very kind and helpful people who work there (they speak so many languages as well :) ) , public transport is 2 minutes away, various restaurants and shops are reachable by foot…
I can sincerely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Basel.

It was only one night but we found it a great location, short walk to the Rhine, trams available outside the hotel, superb breakfast, our room was a little dark but fine for one night !

Location is excellent. Room was very clean. More storage and organizational options on the room would be appreciated. For example, more hooks and shelves.

Zimmer war wirklich für 2 Personen sehr klein und es hatte sehr wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten, vor allem auch im Bad!

Ein sehr sauberer und gepflegte Hotel. Klein aber fein. Sehr gute Lage an der Messe mit direkter Anbindung zur Straßenbahn. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt das die Zimmer über keine Klimatisierung verfügen.

The hotel is located at a convient place. Many tram routes pass throguh. Restaurants around the hotel. Space is tight. No air condition, so it can be hot.

Very nice and clean hotel. The only thing to improve is the fact of having better ventilation in the room (no air conditioning), so it could be hot during summer.

This is a nice, rather small boutique hotel with great staff. Just a short walk to the tram lines that can take you anywhere in town in roughly a half hour. Couple that with a free tram/reduced cost museum pass and you're all set to see the town's sights.
The bar downstairs is also quite nice to have for such a small hotel.
My only real complaint is that they charge (a lot) for a missing key card. (Fortunately, we eventually found it.)
Well... one more complaint: Be careful if you get the room with the bunk bed. It's easy for the person on the right side of the queen to hit their head on the upper bed's corner.

Äußerst freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Ich habe mich hier sehr willkommen und geschätzt gefühlt. Die Matratze ist für meinen Geschmack sehr weich und federt hin und her. Allergikerkissen sind sicher eine gute Wahl für viele, eine Auswahlmöglichkeit auf Federkissen würde die Sache für mich jedoch abrunden. Nichtsdestotrotz würde ich es wieder buchen, allein wegen der freundlichen Menschen die hier arbeiten.

The door cannot be locked from inside. My grandson is two and could just open the door so couldn't even leave him while went to the bathroom

The room was very clean, but very tiny and difficult to maneuver suitcases. It was also very hot (no AC) and with the window open, it was very loud.

This was our first stay after a long international travel day. It was 36C in Basel and with no air conditioning in the room and only a small table fan it was like trying to sleep in a sauna. We barely slept, found a cockroach in our room at 3:00am and finally just got up and left the room at 5:00am to walk around until 7:00am when we could come back for our breakfast and then leave for our next destination. The breakfast itself was lovely, or at least it seemed nice after not eating for 24 hours previous.
I wanted to like this hotel as it seemed like a great option but unfortunately it just turned out horribly.
