this hotel is a true gem in Basel. It’s convenient to the old historic city and close to the train station. The rooms are wonderfully designed very clean and modern. The staff was excellent and helpful.

Upgraded to a very nice and quiet room.
The bed and bed linen very confortable. Additionnally the welcome at reception so friendly and efficient.

Hotel sehr gut gelegen, um in die Innenstadt zu kommen.
Zimmer sehr konfortabel und gross. Tolles Badezimmer. Personnel sehr hilfreich und vorkommend. Parkplätze ok, etwas klein vielleicht.

This hotel was in a great location and was very clean and nice! We enjoyed our room and the staff was very kind and helpful! I loved the Christmas decorations in the lobby and how close it was to explore the beautiful town nearby!

A pearl in the middle of Basel! 5’ on foot into the old town, comfortable and super friendly staff. We didn’t have breakfast but the buffet looked good.

Otel çalışanları çok saygılı, çok tez, çok güzel şehrin merkezinde, heryere yürüyüş mesafesinde bir otel.Ayrıca otelden toplu taşım araçlarına binebilmemiz için kart verdiler.Çalışanları çok kibar ve çok çok güler yüzlü.Çok kibar bir şekilde bütün sorularımızı yanıtladılar ve yardımcı oldular.Bir daha Basel’e gidersek kesinlikle yine Passage otelde konaklayacagız

Exceĺlent location, 5 minute walk to old town & restaurants/shopping. Room 002 large with high ceilings and quiet. Fantastic gym, well equipped and large. Nice sauna also. Very clean and modern hotel. Excellent staff willing to help with any request. Highly recommend

This hotel is just a Home Run! Great decor, modern but warm; great location, just take the staircase out the back courtyard to the Old Town. Excellent breakfast in a lovely setting. Staff are fabulous - helpful in every request. Nicolas even phoned our cruise line to find out the exact docking location, which had changed since our previous notification. You will love this hotel.

The staff, particularly Natalia, were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with plenty of selection. Very close to Old Town although it was 58 steps down. Remember you must come back up! We opted out of room cleaning for our short stay and we were rewarded with refreshments. Excellent idea. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at the Passage. It was very clean, well organized and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. While the suite didn't have a separate room, it was nice how far away the sofa bed was from the actual bedroom and, with a sound machine, we were able to feel like we had two separate spaces.
The bathrooms are very nice, but there were a couple quirky things
1. This would *not* be a suitable option for friends or multiple couples that like privacy. There is only a clear glass door for the shower room and it never fogs over so everyone who walks by has a clear view of the person bathing.
2. The toilet is in a separate room from the tub, sink and shower, so you have to go into a separate room to wash your hands
Overall, though, we would return to the Passage in a heartbeat--just a few small things that might have been nice to know in advance :)

Our stay in Thepassage was just wonderful! Super staff, the room was spacious and very confortable, breakfast buffet was perfect. We will come back again!

An excellent location for visiting Basel - close to the centre and accessible to the train and bus station (with airport links). The rooms were well designed and set up, clean and new-looking, and quiet, staff were very friendly and helpful. I will be booking The Passage for my next trip

Très bel hôtel idéalement situé au cœur de Bâle. Le personnel offre un accueil délicat et une attention de chaque instant, avec beaucoup de professionnalisme et de gentillesse. Les chambres sont confortables, bien insonorisées, décorées avec goût, et d’une propreté impeccable — même pour les plus exigeants. Le service est digne d’un établissement haut de gamme. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation.

Petit hôtel très sympa. Situé assez proche du centre et des transports. Très propre et avec du personnel très sympathique. On avait réservé une suite qui en théorie avait parmi des autres équipements un micro-ondes. Surprise pas de micro-ondes donc assez compliqué de gérer le dîner de notre petite fille. Aussi les produits de beauté ultra naturels .. tellement naturels qui on avait la peu rêche et les cheveux en pétard qui sentaient l’étable. On a dû aller achetér des produits moins bio qui nettoient mieux et sentent moins fort.

Perfect four-star. Simple, but comfortable, clean and modern, centrally located, excellent service. Super workout and sauna space, though moderately small. Nothing too fancy, but might be the best four-star place in the city. Under-rated.

We had an amazing stay! Great service, great gym, nice room and very good breakfast. Good area to explore Basel.
