From the moment you arrive at the resort, Rohit and the team make you feel exceptionally welcome. Everyone is very friendly and took care of all our needs. Sid, our house butler, took excellent care of us for the entire week. Nazmul our villa attendant kept our villa spotless and was always very friendly. The choice of food is great with multiple restaurants available. Chris , the sommelier and Nitin , enhanced our dining experiences. The chef at Asiatique, sorry can't remember name, helped make a birthday celebration exceptional..

Very nice resort with a friendly, accommodating staff who go above and beyond. Their dive program is handled with the utmost professionalism and I felt safe diving with them. The villas are kept clean and fresh every morning and with a turn down service at night. Several restaurants are on site, as well as the buffet. The resort is in very good condition. Bicycles are included with each villa which makes getting around very easy. Each villa has a villa host who is very helpful. Everything is scheduled via an app which made it super easy to book dinner and spa reservations. Highly recommend!

A great all inclusive property to stay at. All the staff are really welcoming & polite. Our host was Elena and she was really fabulous in making sure we enjoy our stay at Emerald and helped to create all itineraries at the resort.

Absolutely wonderful! Villas were beautiful! The most gorgeous bathrooms and the best views! The service was impeccable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

THIS WILL BE ONE OF MANY REVIEWS. There are no words to express how EXCELLENT the service is. NONE. The manager Rohit has a finely tuned well oiled machine. We travel the world and have been to over 100 resorts and hotels. They are BY FAR the best. Our Butler/organizer/manager Chafiu
Is THE STANDARD IN HOSPITALITY. A grade of 10 across the board does this resort ZERO credibility. We booked a return trip already. If your looking for your finest stay in a luxury setting... BOOK THE EMERALD. I miss them already.

Pure paradise awaits. A dream of a resort with stunning views, AMAZING Staff (thank you Wisham), delicious foods, endless activities, shopping and more. Did I mention paradise? :) Getting around is easy, as you can be picked up in a golf cart, or ride around on bikes parked right outside your villa (which I loved!) I will definitely be back.

We have the over water villa with private pool. We truely enjoyed it as we can take quick dips in the warm pool every morning and before bed. It's more expensive compare to villa without pool but totally worth it.

Everything that I can think of is definitely 5 star and beyond, Emerald just needs to improve a bit of dining quality, taste is 4 star, beef is less than 3 star

Everything was fantastic, the choice and quality of food was amazing, the service was great and the staff very friendly and always helpful. I can absolutly recommend this resort ans I`m looking forward when I visit the maldives the next time to stay there again

Emerald Maldives was 10 out of 10 stars for my husband and I! We stayed at the Water Villa with Jacuzzi. From the moment we got in touch with their Reservation team prior to the arrival, I asked a bunch of questions from seaplane, weather, food/restaurant options, etc. The moment we arrived at Male airport, we had someone take us to the Seaplane ticket counter, then to the shuttle bus to take us to the seaplane terminal. Once we arrived at the seaplane terminal, we got to enjoy an hour ish at the lounge till our departure. Our seaplane ride was about 45-50 minutes as we had to stop at 2 resorts prior to arriving at Emerald.
We arrived at the resort and we had a nice welcome with some music and champagne. Once we relaxed for a bit, we met with our villa host Shiham and he took us to the check-in reception then took a quick tour of the island then to our water villa.
Everything was great! From the friendly staffs to the food, we enjoyed everything! The villas were super clean and I cannot thank all the staffs there as everything went smoothly from start to finish. They also decorated the bed to say “Welcome” with leaves and champagne when we arrived and then the day before we were leaving, they decorated saying “Happy Honeymoon!” and also they added some flowers in the bathtub. We hope we can visit again one day but I definitely recommend Emerald Maldives!!

Incredible service. Extremely well managed. I’m 60 years young and have tremendous travel experience. This has to be one of the best managed hotels ever. Food selection is phenomenal, extremely high quality. Staff goes out of its way to please you. Just can’t say enough great things about this place.

Everything was nice and staff were friendly and helpful. Room service twice a day and our villa was maintained in a very comfy condition throughout our stay. Great food choices. A 6-day stay here was just too short. Definitely try their mocktails - we never had enough!

One of best hotels I have ever stayed in. This hotel is for those who want the finer things in life. All Inclusive included over 120 wines to choose from inclusive of champagne.

This all-inclusive resort is a real gem in the Maldives. It's still in brand new condition, large comfortable and tastefully decorated villa, good quality food and really excellent and attentive staff. Everyone served with genuine attitude, nothing over the top, too pushy or too mechanical. Definitely felt very relaxed, at ease and well looked after. Especially our personal caretaker, Dave, who answered all our questions and took proactive action to help us book dinners and excursion. Highly recommended for a stress-free and carefree time in Maldives and great value for money.

Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations.
We stayed in an overwater villa that was breathtaking and Aneeth made sure of it everyday with his exceptional room service and housekeeping. Our room was gorgeous and well worth it as we got sunrise and sunset views with the ocean as our backdrop. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious.
Service was exceptional and consistent throughout the whole resort! The staff were so kind and went above and beyond for everything throughout our stay.
Shout out to all the amazing staff that we got to meet:
Shakti, Azu, Nitin, Bikram, Jimmy, Sam, Nappe, Ankit, Azute, Igga and Nash. There were many more that I apologize for not remembering all the names.
It was a very family friendly resort and was great with kids. My children had so much fun mingling with the kitchen and wait staff that meal times became so pleasant and easy. They would rather eat than go to the kids club.
We enjoyed the variety of food and restaurants that were available as there were various restaurants to go to and change it up for lunch and dinners.
We loved riding our bikes around the island and had so much fun on all our excursions and activities. We saw manta rays and turtles as promised while snorkeling, saw dolphins and even pilot whales during the cruise.
We can't wait to be able to come back and visit again.

Amazing hotel, everything was perfect. The aqua villa is wonderful, with a very nice bedroom and a huge bathroom. The infinite pool at the deck completes the magnificent view. The beach was great, an incredible blue water. Our jet ski tour to a desert tiny island was unbelievable. The restaurants were great, impossible not to come back with extra kilos. The hostess Alexandra, from Casaquistan, was extremely friendly and nice. A special thanks to the general manager, Mr Srikant Devarapali, that gently solved a problem we had before arrival, when booking the hotel. Our groom, Ibu, was also very available and nice. The hotel photographer was extremely patient and dedicated, we simply loved our book! Incredible memories. The gym was great, as the pools and the beach service. The spa has a very nice thai decoration, very pleasant. Everything deserves a 10. It's an incredible experience, and we loved to celebrate our first wedding anniversary there, it looked like heaven.

In September, we took a sister’s trip to Maldives and our first choice was the Emerald Resort. Our stay at Emerald was truly amazing. From the moment that we stepped off the plane in the Male airport, the Emerald experience was top notch. We were promptly met by Emerald staff who assisted us with our luggage and escorted us to the Seaplane lounge. The seaplane ride was incredible with gorgeous scenery. Upon arriving at Emerald resort, the staff welcomed us with a glass of champagne. Our host, Shiham, guided us around the island in a golf cart and pointed out all the points of interest. He even assisted in booking our dinner reservations.
When we arrived at our water villa, it was simply stunning. The room was welcoming with beautiful ocean views. The villa included bikes and a full stocked mini bar.
The meals were delicious. There were so many choices at each restaurant. At each meal, the Sommelier would offer wine pairing suggestions from an extensive selection. The chefs took pride in everything that they served.
We went on a snorkeling excursion to a live reef and the Lucky dolphin cruise. Both experiences were well organized and incredible.
One of our favorite evenings was the Maldivian night which the staff sang and danced. Afterwards, we all danced to live music provided by the Cuban duo who are phenomenal.
Special thanks to Nitin, Arun, Jully, Camelia and Shiham as they really connected with us and made our experience unforgettable.

My wife and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience in the Maldives. The staff at Emerald truly ensured we had a wonderful time. Each and everyone took the time to learn our names, and treated us like family. The food and drinks were amazing, top shelf alcohol all around. We stayed in an overwater villa with pool and it was stunning. Lots of fun activities to do, definitely recommend snorkelling. Special thanks to Arun, Nitin, and Prakash as they really connected with us and made our experience unforgettable. Would highly recommend Emerald Maldives to everyone!

My husband and I experienced our best vacation yet! We were on our honeymoon and from start to finish this resort did not disappoint. Email communication regarding checkin and checkout request, covid guidelines, honeymoon packages and seaplane bookings were seamless. Their mobile app also was a huge help in staying organized. Once we arrived to Male airport we were greeted by Emerald staff that escorted us to a lounge where we can have snacks, coffee and drinks complementary. Once our seaplane arrived we boarded and experienced our first seaplane which was incredible. Upon landing at Emerald resort we were welcomed with drums playing, champagne and cool rags. Our luggage was escorted to our room and we were met by our host, Shiham. He kindly showed us around the entire resort/island on a golf cart being sure to point out the location of restaurants and activities. He even prebooked most of our dinners.
We we arrived at our water villa it was absolutely gorgeous. Two bikes were parked in front for our use during our stay.
The room was clean with beautiful ocean views. Our bathroom was huge with lots of closet space. There were complementary champagne and our mini frig was stocked with beverages.
As for the food, it was VERY delicious. Being a vegan/plant based it’s extremely hard at times finding something delicious to eat. Chief chef Aldo personally met me at most of our restaurants and walked me around making sure I had something delicious.

We had an AMAZING experience at Emerald Maldives for our honeymoon. It was one of the best decisions ever. The food is amazing, the drinks are great, the staff are friendly and helpful, the resort is clean, the beach is beautiful, I can go on and on. It is worth every penny!

We had an amazing honeymoon at Emerald. Eddie helped organize our honeymoon benefits and assist with restaurant and massage reservations during our stay. It was truly an amazing experience and we cannot wait to come back!

The Staff were ALL amazing! KD, Samah, Lee, Nash, Erika, ( the entire food and beverage staff were all amazing!! So hospitable, and nice. They taught us so much about the Maldives and its culture! The night life was amazing! Maldivian night was my favorite event! The staff sang and danced and at the end it turned into a large dance party with staff and all the guest!!! Sooooo much fun! The Live music was another highlight throughout our 10 day stay!! The husband and wife Cuban duo were phenomenal!!!! I cannot wait to return!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Emerald. We are Californians on our honeymoon, and everything from the super clean / modern villas to the incredible service and friendliness of the staff (who spoke English well!) was great. We went snorkeling multiple days, kayaking, windsurfing, biking, and ate a lot of great foods especially the island fruits.
A few call outs - Kumar was helpful, responsive, and arranged all of our activities for us. Lee and Amit did a great wine tasting for us (in the ocean - wow!) and we walked away with laughs and more knowledge. Nuuru was a helpful and kind staff member who served us during many meals and did a great job.
A growth opportunity for the Emerald team is the sunscreen cost - $80 is steep! Also, the food was high quality across the board but occasionally we wished there was more seasoning / sauces available and the fish wasn’t over cooked.
Overall would highly recommend!

Emerald Maldives from the moment we made it to Male was everything we hoped for. We were greeted at the airport and taken to check in for our seaplane and then taken to an air-conditioned vehicle to our lounge where we could freshen up and wait for our sea plane to take us to the resort. The staff stayed and made sure we boarded our plane and were there once again once we landed to make sure we got to our room. The mobile check-in made it easy so once we landed we only had to go directly to our room and never had to wait to check-in. This was the best experience we have had on a vacation and it was all due to the quality of the staff and the beauty and cleanliness of the location. I would highly refer this resort to anyone.

We chose the Emerald Maldives Resort and Spa for our honeymoon destination and it did not disappoint. Our stay was fabulous, the resort was wonderful, our room was exquisite and the staff and service was top notch. We highly recommend this hotel.

This resort is amazing! From the moment the staff greets you as you get off the seaplane to the moment they wave goodbye as you take off, you are treated like royalty! Every staff member was kind, helpful, and willing to go out of their way for you. The grounds are impeccable. The food and drink are top notch- we felt we had our own personal wine sommeliers at each meal! Our room was breathtaking. The resort is laid out so you feel as if you are on your own private retreat. It was an unforgettable experience!

Emerald hotel wasn’t just a hotel, it was an entire experience. I have never been so pleased with a trip. They keep the rooms spotless. The hotel staff was 10/10. They were always so friendly and willing to assist in an way. I highly recommend the Emerald Maldives.

Emerald Maldives was by far the best hotel I have had the pleasure of calling home for a week :) The premises were pristine. The food was great! The over the water villa with a pool was absolutely BEAUTIFUL with breathtaking views of the ocean! Moad, our villa assistant was more than accommodating and helpful! Cisse, whom was responsible for ensuring the villa was spotless, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort! For these reason and more, I highly recommend Emerald Maldives! I will most definitely return! Thank you Emerald!

Went here for our honeymoon and it was so beautiful! Make sure to come when it’s not rainy season! We love this place and the staff make it extra special. We will recommend this resort to everyone! Will be back!

This was a beautiful resort that gives you options to do many activities- some already included in the deluxe package. The villas are amazing and luxurious. The food options are amazing!
