The apartment was cute and a good size for a single traveler. Check in was easy and was great to not have to worry about a key. The neighborhood is chock full of fun things to do.
Now the downsides. The stairs are very, very narrow so if you have luggage it's a bit difficult to get it up the stairs. I arrived at the 4pm check in and the apartment hadn't been cleaned from the last visit. A cleaner arrived quickly after a phone call to Henrique though and took care of it. The biggest downside to this place is it is INCREDIBLY LOUD. I mean so loud until 2AM that it is impossible to sleep. There is a bar across the narrow street and people are shouting and playing loud music. This was a Wednesday night. If you are into that and will be out partying that late anyway then it will be no problem. If you have an early flight, as I did, it will be very exasperating.
