Good: Comfortable bed, helpful and kind staff, all advertised amenities and more (a plug converter), good signage, close to shops.
Not that good: The sprayers of the soap and shampoo bottles were too tight, not suitable for those liquids. The room smells humid when no air-conditioning, location is far from jetties, but as Male is a small island, it's not that big of a deal.

a dispiriting dump. loud construction all around. I canceled and went elsewhere. They very kindly refunded my room.
