Did not realize how old and dank the building was. Let me give you the facts for which I have picture proof. Upon arrival I found hair still at wall in shower stall. Dust on shelves. Small flies around kitchen sink and in bathroom. Stains on bed sheet. Before opening my suitcase I went to store to buy sanitizing wipes. Day one: evening I found smal bugs crawling all over the floor and on kitchen counter. Killed them. Day two: had notified host, was told exterminator would arrive around noon. Other problems were not addressed. Exterminator came and sprayed, said it is because of the rain. That evening a bug crawled across the bed. Next day I reported it to host. Asked to get refund or a different accommodation. No more responses from host. Notified Expedia. They were unable to communicate with host. Was offered keycash from Expedia and thus was able to get new accommodation booked. As i packed the few things I had taken out of my suitcase and opened the silverware drawer, a large cockroach scutteled, disappearing behind the drawer. Thank you expedia for helping me get out of this place. I still have nightmares if maybe having been crawled on by a bug while I was asleep.
